Matiko was founded in 2003 in Los Angeles, California. Designer Jesse Howard had a goal in mind. A goal to create footwear that blended the classic quality and silhouettes of Europe with his perspective on Southern California's funky and eclectic styles.

I'm a 6 and they fit perfectly. However, they decided to place the raised logo right underneath the heel which makes them very uncomfortable. Also there is zero arch support. Very cute shoe and makes you very tall - but they're uncomfortable and have to go back.
I absolutely adore these shoes. They are comfortable and fit true to size. The band around the ankle leaves enough wiggle room (& doesn't cut off circulation!). I bought them in the pastel colors although I really wish I could afford the zebra stripe as well. These will definitely be a main staple in my summer wardrobe.
I love these shoes! They fit perfectly and are comfortable. I wore them for hours, no pain. I am tempted to also get the black pair!
I am so impressed with this shoe. When I was younger I loved heels, but hitting 40, I found the pain they brought was not worth their height. Then I found these, I wore them all day, walked blocks and had no issues at all. I highly recommend these for anyone who wants style, comfort and sky high heels.
I love these spring boots. They are comfortable, lightweight, stylish, great with skinny or boyfriend jeans. I wear them as one step up from sneakers and one step down from a pair of higher wedge boots or sandals. I can stand/walk for long periods in these, but I am not ashamed to be seen out in the evening wearing them. Usually in flats/low heels I am a 9½ but I needed these in a 9. Right now I am living in them - until summer arrives then the toes come out permanently!
