We love Marmot products. So when my son needed a new winter jacket I looked into this and other models. This one was the best for us - super warm and super light. Has a hood that keeps your head warm too. Fits true to size and it's durable. Only downside the zipper tongue is too small for little hands. North Face zippers tend to be bigger and stronger.

Great jacket, my son really likes it - his favorite color is green, so we chose the green on green and as others have posted, it looks even better in person than it did in the picture. The quality seems very good; Marmot appears to put the same level of craftsmanship in their children s line as they do in their adult clothing. My son is a 4T, and the small 4/5 is a good fit with enough room to grow and still fit next winter. My son says the jacket is warm and comfortable so it's all good. I would recommend this jacket.

I always read reviews but never write them. I am writing one here to tell you to just buy this coat. It's lightweight but really warm. It's way nicer on than in the picture. Simple classic style. The hood stays up, offers some face protection from the cold and has a zipper garage (just learned that term!). Bottom is adjustable to keep cold air from coming in, and also to make the coat more fitted so you can get a few years out of it which I plan to do. It was a little pricey but I think well worth it. I bought the black and he feels like a ninja! I think it's true to size.

I got my 9 year old the blue one and my 6 year old the green one. First of all they look better in person. I love these coats. Super warm and very cute. They are worth the price.

I bought this for my son when he was 3yo size S4/5, and was good for 2 years, now I bought another one for next year, this is the perfect jacket for kids: light, warm, and looks very well. I dry cleaned it few times, then I just washed it cold water, and put it in the dryer;it is in perfect condition;just buy it, no regrets.
