Mammut Reviews
This is the perfect small bag. It is very comfortable and durable. If you are looking for a small daypack, this is the bag for you.
This jacket is great for skiing and snowboarding. It runs true to size. I'm 5'9, athletically built and a medium fit me perfectly.
I bought this jacket to bike in extreme weather. It is very light (about a pound) but durable. It is on the slim side but allows for layering: I wear it with cashmere cardigan or a wool puffer vest. It is completely water- and windproof, which you normally can expect from Gore-tex pro-shell. The jacket seems to be well made, although label says made in China by Swiss technology. Not sure what is the value of Swiss technology but this jacket is a little overpriced for made in China piece of apparel. Despite price, I am happy with the purchase.
Size is not consistent with labeling. Lining snags on your skin and makes it hard to insert arms into sleeves.
It is super comfy, cute and warm jacket! I ordered my normal size.

This rope is perfect for just about anything! It is durable and super strong. For Kwanza I gave this rope to all my friends. I know it is expensive but it is worth that price.

Good single rope for trad or sport climbing. I've had to use this rope in the rain and it retains minimal water which helps with weight. Only complaint is that it doesn't feel as supple as non-dry rope. Nice to having it longer as insurance for long rappels and also longer pitches.
This is an awesome bag. It is light weight, the perfect day trip size and a great fit to the body. I am very pleased!
This shirt is very comfortable and very good looking. If your a big fan of mammut and want a really comfy shirt this is the one!
I bought this light as a simple and lightweight headlamp for ultralight backpacking. The Good: It is light, simple to operate, decent runtime, good beam angle at 35°, and brightness levels. It is fairly comfortable to wear, does not shine any light back into the wearer's eyes or onto their nose. The Bad: Skinny headband makes the headlamp a little too easy to flip up or down, it is not waterproof, though it held up to some rain just fine. The runtimes are completely false and ridiculous. It draws 190 mA on one led, 400 mA on two, and 680 mA on three. It should run 14-16 hours maximum on low with an Alkaline battery.Things I would change: O-ring everything. Make the lowest setting lower, as it is way more light than needed to look into a backpack or read in a tent. Make the headband ¼" or so wider.Overall, this light is quite good for the money. It is plenty bright for most uses, is lightweight and simple to operate, and does not shine in my eyes when I am wearing it. My only real knock against it is that the runtimes are completely false. This is a regulated light, so it will stay at almost full brightness until it will rapidly dim when the battery is dead. I am going to use this light as a backup, as it is very small and compact, but does not compete with more expensive lamps in the departments of: build quality, waterproofness, brightness, secureness on head, or runtime. For the price, I don't think you can do better if you need a simple and very lightweight AA headlamp. If you need more light or runtime without spending much more money, I recommend the Icon Irix 2. Unfortunately, it comes with its own list of shortcomings. It wil not stay in the headband, and it glares in your eyes.It seems like headlamp manufacturers never test their gear, or consider even though most obvious fixes to major issues. Until I find a headlamp that actually does what most users want, I will stick with my Fenix H20. It is twice the price of the others I discussed, but such a superior headlamp if you have the cash. If you want something other than a single AA headlamp, there are plenty of choices, but they will all be heavier and bulkier than the AA lights (excluding cr2032-powered headlamps).
What a great little light. Will take no room/or weight in my pack. It actually even swivels which was a bonus to me. Plus Zappos lightning fast shipping is amazing.
I ordered this because I am a backpacker and love the fact that it uses only 1-AAA battery. The unit is very light and the LED's are bright. I am very happy with this and would recommend that anyone who is considering getting one will be happy they did. One thing to keep in mind -- it is not waterproof. I can live with that.
