This is my first pair of tactical boots. I bought them because I was taking an EMT class which required clinical experience on an ambulance. The Vipers are comfortable, definitely feel like they've been designed for people who spend a good deal of the day on their feet. Waterproofing is great. I've been in ankle deep water for hours at a time with these boots and my feet have not gotten wet. So far so good. The sizing on these boots is quite weird. They seem to run large but I took a 10.5 and I am an 11. Most boots for me are an 11.5. The boot feels a little wide and it seems to be made for people with really low arches.The boot is definitely comfortable and does the job but would I buy it again? Maybe. I'd look around first and see what else is out there.

Very light and comfortable, lightest boot I ever put on. Haven't worn them much yet but they have a lot of support. I am in between sizes so I would go with the next size down. The first pair felt a little wide. I sent them back and Zappos was great to work with, no problems.

Great Boot. I use this boot primarily for motorcycling and they work fine. No break in, they were comfortable the first time I put them on. I went with the lace up because I like a snug fit around the ankles. I am completely satisfied. Zappos shipping is simply outstanding!

Have had a few pairs of these over the years, very comfortable, and lightweight. They don't hurt your feet at the end of the day. Seem to maybe run a bit big, but gives me room for heavy socks.

Good boot, decent comfort - Navy Instructor here, I need a waterproof boot that I could work a 14 hour day in. This boot adequately meets those standards. They've held their water-tight integrity for a month now and I don't slip around in them when they're wet. The comfort was greatly improved by replacing the insoles. Overall, it's a good boot for the price.

I've worn Magnum boots for more than 10 years and was disappointed with these. My Stealth II's were way more comfortable and quieter than these. I've worn these for over a month and they're still stiff. Won't get them again.

Look great, Feel great, can't say much for workmanship.... These boots look great and feel great but the workmanship and quality control leave some thing to be desired. The very first time I cinched up the laces, the plastic inserts in the eyelets immediately tore lose and popped out of the eyelet holes. Can't tell you how disappointed I am! This is the second pair of Magnum boots out of 8 or 10 pair that I have purchased over my career that have failed right out of the box. The last failure was the stitching above the heel where the leather and material are joined. The first time I went to take them off, the entire seam separated and never received a response from the manufacturer after several emails. Won't purchase this product again.

Don't buy these boots - I thought these boots were great when I received them. They looked good and felt great. 3 months into wearing them, the skin on them started peeling where the toe bends. I was disappointed since these boots were so comfortable. Guess I'll have to look for another brand.

Careful with this boot - Have been wearing and buying Magnum/HiTech for the last 20 years. This boot is comfortable like the rest of them. Only have one problem with them, the leather has pulled or torn away from the sole of the boot on the left and now the right boot. Very disappointed in the boot. Have had them less then 5 months now.
