Great Boot! I wanted a waterproof light boot to basically run around in and play paintball...and this was an awesome choice. I ordered it on a Thursday night and it came on Friday, fit just like a normal sneaker. This boot is even lighter than some of the basketball shoes I have! It kept my feet dry and gave great ankle support for running around. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick sturdy boot.

Very Pleased - I placed an order and the shoes arrived the next day. They were very comfortable the first time I put them on. They gave me good all around support, and I am on my feet 12 to 14 hours a day. They are light and easy to walk in and the vented sides keep my feet from sweating. They have good traction on many different surfaces. I would recommend these for anyone that has to be on there feet for long periods of time.

Magnum Viper is light on the feet! I like to thank those who wrote a review on this shoe, for it is the most comfortable shoe that I've ever worked in. The support is excellent and working with these boots on, and walking about 4 1/2 miles, picking up about 5 tons of trash on a 10-12 tons route with my partner makes the job very easy. I like to thank those reviewers who brought this shoe and rated them very highly because, these shoes stand firm to every word that was written, for they are light and very comfortable if you are on your feet's for hours! I work for the Department of Sanitation of New York City and our feet take a pounding walking between my partner and I; 10-12 miles a day picking up 10-15 tons of trash and a good pair of shoes like the Magnum Viper II make a job this hard very easy! Great for wear in cold climates. They are very comfortable, with ample cushioning, sturdy, made with quality materials, yet very lite. These boots can be worn all day long without your feet growing weary. By far these are the best performing boots I've ever owned. These are my first Magnums which I bought in Black and I am currently shopping for a brown pair of the V-Lites.

I work for a large parcel delivery company known for the color of its uniforms. So, I do a lot of walking and standing. These boots are the best I've ever owned for this application. They're extremely lightweight and waterproof. For under $100 you will not find a better boot if you need comfortable footwear. They do not offer much in the way of protection, like a steel toe. So, be advised these are more for comfort and agility than a true work boot. A+

My son has a body shop in Florida. We moved to Florida two years ago. I always bought this shoe in an Army Navy store and gave him a pair for every occasion. At Christmas I could not find it in the stores. I went online and it was near Christmas. They had one pair left in his size. They mailed overnight. The Magnum Viper holds up and is the most comfortable shoe to wear. He is on his feet most of the day in a paint booth. This shoe gives him the support he needs. He says they are the best!

I have been wearing Magnum boots for well over 10 years and I consider them to be the most comfortable work boots I have ever worn. These Viper II are keeping up with this tradition. I spend most of my day on my feet and really appreciate the comfort these boots provide. They provide excellent grip and support on concrete or pavement and do not get to hot in the summer. I would recommend these to anyone who is on their feet all day.

The Magnum Viper 2 is a great boot. Very comfortable right out of the box. Need no break in period. But I have to switch out the inserts for some after market ones. If you have flat and wide feet or if your feet and/or back hurts, these are the boots you need!

Seem poorly constructed and cheaply made. They were uncomfortable and took too long to break in. Bates boots are close fit and style and light years beyond in quality.

These are great boots for work or play. They are very light weight and cool which means a lot in Florida. Son is a plumber, he said they are the best boot he has ever had. His feet don't get tired or hurt at the end of the day. They hold up even getting wet. They have never broken down in any way, he just plain wear's them out. This is the 3rd pair in 5 years and loves them.

Purchased these boots for work since I'm on my feet for 10 hours a day and my old ones bit the dust. These boots were true to size and no break in were needed. I've received many compliments from co-workers and a few went out to buy a pair. Zappos shipped these to me the next day and I was very glad since I was in need of a good water proof boots. My only regret is that I should of purchased 2 instead of one since they only had two left in my size. I've purchased many Harley Davidson boots from Zappos in the past and they never let me down!

Key selling feature of this boot is its light weight. Although I don't see any stitches in the treads, the boot does feel well made, and should be suitable for careers with metal detectors. Heavy arch is both a blessing and a curse since most people have a larger foot.

These Boots were true to size but the only downside was that the heels wore out within a few months after purchasing them. I wore them solely for work! Otherwise they didn't need any break in period!

Disappointed with this boot. If you look closely on the outside of the shoe, along the side, just above the sole, there is a seam on the side of where your toes are. This seam split open on both shoes as it is in an area that flexes as you walk. I love the Magnum product, and was very disappointed with this boot.
