Out of the box - These boots felt broken in right out of the box. The shank isn't very sturdy but that probably added to the on road comfort. I just spent two weeks in the mountains and while they were comfortable, I found they weren't rigid enough when transversing over rocks and such. I would recommend these boots for urban applications over field ones.

Great boot, took a couple weeks to fully break in. Can't complain.

The boots are comfy. Didn't need to break them in. Make sure to order a size smaller then you normally would unless you are wearing extra thick socks.

Purchased these for my husband as his were at least over 4 years old. He absolutely loves these. Straight out of the box comfort & he cannot afford to deal with painful shoes on his job. He is usually very skeptical about shoes I pick for him but he was surprised himself at how great these were. Kept his feet warm and were very agile.
