After two months of everyday wear, I can't say enough positive things about these shoes! My job requires that I be on concrete 8 hours per day. I also have to walk a lot. The light weight of the composite toes makes a huge difference! Do yourself a favor and never wear steel toes again! For years I wore Skechers and Wolverines. These Magnums are in another league, towering over those brands. The foot pain I previously suffered is gone. The Magnums are so comfortable that if given the choice I would choose them over the tennis shoes I wear back and forth to work. Zappos service was, as usual, terrific. The money spent on these shoes was the best investment I've made this year. When needed, I'll definitely purchase Magnum shoes again. You can't go wrong with these.

I'm on my second pair. I had a pair of the V-Lite Magnums that I bought in 2009, which lasted me a year before the lining began to wear out. Boots usually last me anywhere from 3 to 6 months, so I'm buying at least two pairs a year, one paid for out of my pocket, the other by my employer and with what I do, it's important that my feet don't hurt, especially when I'm on my feet 8 to 16 hours a day. I can't say enough good things about these boots. They're the same as the last pair, only difference is they're lighter in construction and have the new waterproof coating, as well as the antimicrobial lining treatment.If they last as long as the last pair, I'll be coming back for another in a year. They're the only boots that manage to stand up to the punishment of walking 3 to 5 miles a day through dirt, oil, grease, and occasionally water.

It's been a month and a half; the soles are holding up on the railroad ballast better than any boot I have had, still look like new. I have had boots that didn't last this long so I'm happy. The outside of the boot hasn't softened up like a normal boot, and the boot still holds its original shape like it was right out of the box. They are very comfortable.

Okay, this review is for the Magnum Precision Ultra Lite WPi Composite Toe boot. I ordered two brands of work boots and these are the boots I kept because the overall fit was comfortable right out of the box. The extreme light weight of this boot doesn't have me dragging my feet around after a twelve hour day. The boot is indeed waterproof, so long as the water doesn't exceed the height the tongue joins the actual boot, the shank is firm but not unforgiving when bending. The sole is very durable and after a month of wearing them they don't have extreme wear on them. I have to mention the boots smelled oddly like moth balls when I opened the box and the smell I attribute to the breathable water proofing; which has yet to completely dissipate, the smell that is. My feet vary from brand to brand, and with these boots I was average 11D instead of a wide in some Red Wing model. Overall, a great boot and I would by this boot again provided they are still available. Zappos as always delivers the goods in a timely fashion.

I hear a lot of people trash Magnum boots and their products, but I really don't see where they are coming from. I saw some of the other models that I could see how they looked a little cheaply built but these don't have that problem. I had never tried this brand but thought that I would give it a go and I am definitely glad that I did. I came to these boots from a pair of Timberland Pro Pit Boss steel toes, rumored to be the best work boots around. I think that these are better. My old ones lasted 2 years, and while I don't know how long these will do, so far it's looking good at about 1 month. I have gotten these things in all kinds of mess and dirt and they still look and feel great. One of the biggest things that I noticed when I started wearing these is that you feel vastly more athletic than in other boots. They weigh very little and provide excellent support as well as excellent traction on all surfaces. I would certainly buy this boot again.

Boots are amazingly lightweight and fit my high arch somewhat narrow feet very well. Service from Zappos was awesome as usual.

Yep, great shoe. Never, ever, spent this much on a pair of work boots before but pretty much just as the other reviews have said: Very comfortable, and for me the weight was the biggie. Very lightweight and since I have had a lot of trouble with my feet in the past, really happy with these. Not loser by any means.

The Ultra Lite is truly that and many work/utility boots make you aware of them by their weight and not these. Forever I have had foot discomfort from being on my feet all day but I can feel the arch support is these boots, and no discomfort at all. I will purchase them again!

The difference between these and my old Doc Martens is unbelievable. Incredibly light and comfortable. There was no break-in period at all--I have been wearing them all day, right out of the box. They say the uppers are microfiber, but they look and feel just like leather. If these turn out to have a good service life, I will buy them forever!

Ok, so I got these boots and was really excited because of all the great reviews. Well, I wanted to wear around the house to make sure they were comfy before I wore to work. The second time I laced them up one of the plastic eyelets broke and came out. Also, the lining above the toe seemed like there was extra and there was a bulge. Both of these issues were on the left boot. Now I don’t know if I should try another pair or go with a different brand... Hmmm… But, as usual, Zappos is AMAZING!!!

Precision Ultra Lite WPi CT. Do not bother. I just completed the first week of use, and they are already falling apart. The imitation leather is water proof until it tears. The tread on the bottom provides great traction until it starts falling off. I will give them one thing though. They are comfortable. Too bad they will not last the summer.

I have worn the Magnum Composite toe boot for a number of years and am extremely pleased with the quality and comfort of the boots.When I am at work I am on my feet 6-9 hours and I must say they offer the best comfort and support of any boot I have ever worn.

Really lightweight, feels really comfortable, and very good quality. If uses every day, all day for work, it would last about one year and then you would have to replace them. This is my second pair.
