Great approach shoe, super comfy and supportive. Super sticky rubber for scrambling, work well even on wet rock. Have had mine for months and they are holding up great to some pretty burly terrain.

Just avg to less than avg - This shoe is very light on the feet. If you've ever owned a pair of Red Head hikers they are light weighted like them. PRO: I think the shoes have an awesome look about them. They go well with jeans or shorts. CONS: My biggest complaint is the toe narrows up too much for me and the shoe runs about 1/2 too small; and once I added a sock it was a full size too small. This is due mainly to the construction of the toe narrowing up the way it does. My 2d complaint is the shoestrings are too short. If you use the very top loop on the shoe then the strings don't leave you much of any to tie. When I skipped the top loop on the shoe it created too much of a loose fit in the shoe for me and I noticed some slippage (ie rubbing on the heel). Overall, with these issues it's not a shoe that I'd highly recommend for any serious walking or hiking. My best use for them is to wear while fishing and that's only because I don't have to walk in them except to/from my truck to/from my bass boat. I'd recommend putting an extra 30-40 bucks in a different shoe and getting something better. PRIMARY PRO: Guys, the one thing you need to do is BUY ALL OF YOUR SHOES FROM ZAPPOS. You absolutely WILL NOT find a better shoe store in the country. These guys are super fast and offer a no-hassle return policy.
