Macbeth Vegan. In addition to Macbeth´s music-inspired products, Macbeth is also known for its support of the vegan community. From its inception, Macbeth took inspiration from its family of vegan artists like Bane, Alkaline Trio, American Nightmare, H20, and Sick Of It All and created modern sneakers that contain only vegan materials. Many of these bands were strict advocates for straight edge ideals, which often involved the elimination of using or consuming animal products of any kind. In natural succession, Macbeth's first ever shoe, the Eliot, launched in November of 2002 as a Vegan design. Macbeth continues to produce creative vegan footwear, and in 2007 Macbeth won "Best Vegan Skate Shoe" from Peta.

This is my second time purchasing this shoe by Macbeth. If you're looking for the simple style of an understated "Chuck" by Converse but can't stand the months of breaking it in, this is the shoe for you. The sole has a moderate arch for those who aren't flat footed, so comfort is immediate. The lining is thicker than that of a Chuck or even the Macbeth Elliots, so your feet wont freeze in the cold. I usually wear a 10 in other shoes, but for Macbeth its usually a 9.5, so they run a little big. My older shoes I'm replacing have stayed together very well, the inner lining in the heel was the first to wear out, but the shoe is still comfortable and the outer lining is dirty, but perfect condition. All in all, my go to shoe, highly recommended.

They were OK, but I thought they would be way better. They felt very narrow and they were extremely stiff. The heels would rub on the back to where I couldn't wear them after 10 minutes. Nice look, but terrible feel.

I purchased these as a gift for my boyfriend. I ordered a 10, a 10½ and an 11 so he could choose the size that fit best. He ended up going with the 10½ so I would say these fit true to size. They look amazing on him and he loves them. He says they have a lot better support than his Converse, but still have that same slim look to them.

Shoe was everything I had expected comfortable, breaks in rather quick. The only problem is that the white torn edges do tend to dirty kinda quick but a simple wash and they are as good as new.

The shoe does seem to be narrow compared to most shoes which worked great for me because I have large but very narrow feet. Love the shoes and I'm going to order another style from Macbeth. The quality seems to be very good as well.

These shoes feel as amazing as they look. Good quality, and I'll be wearing these instead of Chuck Taylors from now on.
