These fit similarly to Vans, so definitely do not order a size down. The best thing about these shoes is they look good with the tongue fattened like a skate shoe or with the laces tight for skinnier jean cuffs. They are not as padded as they might appear, and they do not seem durable enough to skate, but so far I have no complaints with these terrific shoes.

I got these back in the middle of august and I've been wearing them everyday since. They are a different shoe and I like the feel a lot. Since my foot is a little bit narrow they are are kinda loose, but I don't mind. They are definitely my go to pair of shoes. I love the feel and the look of them a lot. I strongly recommend them. Get a half size smaller than what you usually wear.

This was the first pair of MacBeths that I ever bought. 8 pairs of shoes, a few shirts and some Sunglasses later, they are still rock my world. The sizing is a little off, I would get a size larger with these, and any Macbeths, just for comfort. I wore these to Warped and my feet have PTSD or something. I put them on now and my feet instantly hurt. I don't blame the shoes though.

It's so important to be able to find vegan products and to have them delivered in about 18 hours is too good to believe! The same experience 2X, amazing!

The shoes are awesome! I just bought my 4th or 5th pair of them. I think they generally survive 6 months of wear and tear (including riding a bike with them).

About Macbeth
Macbeth Vegan. In addition to Macbeth´s music-inspired products, Macbeth is also known for its support of the vegan community. From its inception, Macbeth took inspiration from its family of vegan artists like Bane, Alkaline Trio, American Nightmare, H20, and Sick Of It All and created modern sneakers that contain only vegan materials. Many of these bands were strict advocates for straight edge ideals, which often involved the elimination of using or consuming animal products of any kind. In natural succession, Macbeth's first ever shoe, the Eliot, launched in November of 2002 as a Vegan design. Macbeth continues to produce creative vegan footwear, and in 2007 Macbeth won "Best Vegan Skate Shoe" from Peta.

I bought these for my husband, who happens to be extremely fussy when it comes to shoes. He loves them and they are very comfortable and look great. I will be getting myself a pair as well.

I've been purchasing Macbeth shoes for five years now. I've owned three pairs. I've put them to the test and they've taken everything that I've thrown at them. From working 18 hour days to playing my drum set. These shoes are comfortable and well worth the investment. I wear them with a quilt free conscience because they aren't made of animal. If you are going to purchase these shoes Zappos is the way to go about it. I had to return the first pair I bought because they were too big, but I was offered free return shipping and both of the times that my shoes were sent to me I received next day shipping for free so the return was extremely painless. five stars across the board!

Not my first pair of Macbeth shoes, but these ones fit much differently than the previous ones I've owned. I like the look, and they're nice and sturdy, with big-time arch support, but I do have one major problem that I can't overlook. The shoe rubs at the back of my ankle quite a lot. So much so in fact that I really can't bear to wear these shoes and I'm getting rid of them. I've only worn them very rarely, and for brief periods since I bought them, for this specific reason on two occasions when I've actually taken them for a walk of any meaningful length, I've ended up with severe friction blisters. The first time was so bad in fact that I wore bandages on the backs of my ankles for days. I really do like the look and quality of these shoes, but for me personally they're a dud. I'm a bigger guy, wearing a larger shoe size, so maybe that's part of it, I don't know. In either case, buyer beware, and if they don't fit right, I'd really advise returning them while you can. They didn't simply break-in as I had hoped/expected. When all is said and done, these shoes broke me.

The shoes look and feel good. I would say that the size listed was pretty accurate. My last pair was the Macbeth with hook and loop closures, so this pair is a bit more work in the morning. But I should probably be less lazy.

Seriously, Zappos is WAY too good at what it does. I ordered these shoes no less than two days ago; I woke up this morning to a shipping confirmation. I returned a little while ago, about 9 pm, and I’ll be damned! My shoes are already here, what is up w/ this company!! Anyway, the shoes are awesome. I got the black/cement. They fit beautifully. I’m not sure about the reviews that say they don’t, they must not know their own shoe size. I guess if you want you can go up a half size, but I wear 12, ordered 12, and 12 fits just the way I want. The insoles are very supportive and if you take them out you have a message underneath. The style is awesome. I was looking to replace my Chucks. It seems everyone and their mom (literally) wears Chucks now. These have a similar profile, look, and wear-a-bility (they look awesome w/ khakis), but you feel more original wearing them. Plus they are vegan, how freakin cool is that?! Buy these shoes, support this awesome site, make love not war.

Love the shoes. I actually typed in the wrong address and the shoes got shipped back to you. I got an email that you guys had received the shoes, I called, and a very nice lady helped track down my error and get the shoes shipped back to me, all for free. I could not believe it. I have told 6 different people about this experience, and highly encouraged them for their shoe needs.

I am a girl, and I absolutely love these shoes. They are way comfortable for me. I have always wanted a pair of Macbeths and I finally succumbed to it one day. I am so glad. I love these shoes. My next pair will be Elliot's.

Neat vegan shoe - My only grip with the shoe is the heel slides around if the shoes aren't really tight.

Macbeth Manchester - I usually buy a Womens US 10 and I bought an 8.5 of these (mens) and they fit perfect. Vegan too which is great. The width is a little narrow, but I may just have slightly wider feet and I was used to wearing etnies which do run in the wide style. They look fantastic!

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. Before getting these, I'd always worn skateboarding shoes that had a lot of padding, so these took a week or two to get used to because it just felt like a shell on my foot. They're insanely comfortable after you get used to them, and I've gotten quite a few compliments on them as well. These shoes have very little arch support, so I just bought gel arches to put in them. I was a little unsure of what size to get, but I regularly wear a women's size 9 1/2 to a 10, and I got men's size 8 and they fit perfectly.
Brands I'd also recommend: other Macbeths, converse

I got these as a lightweight replacement for my adidas Campus sneakers. They're a bit like a nicer (and wider) Chuck Taylor – though with much better arch support. Not much help with my overpronating, but I wasn't expecting that out of these. Very comfortable and good looking. It seems like the fiber fabric will hold up for awhile but I guess time will tell.

Looks great, more comfortable than my Converse - I would have to say that these look great and are quite comfortable. I also like the fact that not many people have them. They definitely feel better than my Cons and Old Skool Vans.
