Great shoe that can be worn both formal and casual. Very comfortable and they didnt cause the usual discomfort that many dress shoes do during breaking in. The leather soles wear very well also. Ordered the black first and liked them so much I ordered the burgundy ones too.

These are a nice style of shoe. I am not a fan of outside material. After the first day of wearing, they started to wrinkle where you bend the front of your foot. After a few times of wearing they fit and feel very comfortable.

Gone are the days when you could pick a quality shoe based solely on the name. Even the best brands today use thin leather uppers and plastic soles. Admittedly I wasn't familiar with the brand name of these shoes, but I am glad I took the chance. The soles are thick, sturdy leather which will last a very long time and will be easy to replace with half-soles when they eventually break down. They are fairly plain looking, but formal enough to wear with business suits. Excellent craftsmanship and very low price. These are sturdier than J&M, Florshiem, and possibly Mezlans.

Don't let the low price fool you. These are well made, comfortable, very attractive shoes. My husband was very pleased.

You get what you pay for--or less; very difficult to break in, uncomfortable once they are broken in; I was excited about the purchase at first, but spend the extra dough on some quality cordovan shoes if you need that color.
