The Lugz Strut is everything it was cranked up to be. It's good looking, comfortable, and the fit is superb and it blends nicely with every color. I have not cleaned it since I bought, but it looks like it will be easy to care for. For now,it has met all my purpose for buying it.

I ordered the Lugz Strutt boots a half a size smaller, which fit perfectly. I purchased them for their more stylish look to replace my heavier steel toe work boots, which are sometimes too heavy and rugged for wearing to some informal social outings. Their lighter weight not only makes my suitcase lighter to tote, but helps to ensure I not exceed the 50 pound maximum weight allowed per travel bag at the airport. The stylish and waterproof boots have a great traction tread on the bottom of the sole for maneuvering in the Northern snow and ice or hiking in Western mountainous areas. I just wish the companies that make men's boot would stop adding that stylish (?) tab on the back of the boot for hanging them up, which no one does, as every time I sit and stand the bottom of my jeans catch on that stylish tab and don't hang properly. How stylish is that! Perhaps Michael Jordan, who now sells boxers that don't ride up, will also make boots without that useless tab to stop mens' pant legs from riding up, too. Of course the staff at Zappos were their usually jolly, friendly, helpful selves. I have ordered from Zappos for years and they are one of the best and most creditable on-line companies I could recommend. Holiday shopping suggestion: One Christmas I had my family members from afar go online and select a nice pair of quality summer sandals from Zappos for their Christmas gifts. They loved the idea and their personally selected gift and I didn't have to hit the dreaded shopping malls or pay separate UPS shipping charges for each gift sent to different locations out of State. You're welcome!

Shoes are 1/2 size big and run narrow for width. The width does break-in easily, only about 4 to 5 days use. Other than that, they are a great shoe.

I bought these shoes, after I wore out the last pair I had bought. They are very comfortable and Zappos had my size which is very hard to find. the Nubuck Suede makes cleaning it difficult, but just make sure you don\'t scuff it and you should be fine. Overall, I recommend this boot. It\'s a classic.

Shoe Review - I do like this style of shoe, as I have worn this type for years. The sole and heel of this shoe has a great tread and is very durable. I do like the colors that are available. I like these shoes so much that I bought 2 pair on my first purchase. Very good product Indeed.

About Lugz
Always an innovator and leader in urban footwear, Lugz first made a name for itself in October of 1993, bringing its first line of boots to market, with the initial product consisting of two styles of boots, a quilted vest and a pair of jeans.
Soon Lugz was endorsed by key players from the world of hip hop and has continued to do so throughout the years. One of such collaborations led to Lugz breathing life to a whole new category of footwear with the introduction of the first ever celebrity-endorsed "Funk Master Flex" urban driving shoe. This was only the beginning, as support then led to a collaborative line with hip-hop superstar Bryan "Baby" Williams, aka "Birdman" with his own series of sneakers and boots.
In 2006, Orange County Choppers, the world's premier builders of custom motorcycles, signed on to endorse Lugz shoes, which they were already wearing so it was a natural fit. With its aggressive "built for the city reputation", Lugz collaborated with Paul Teutul Jr to create a signature Lugz shoe, "the Torx", which interpreted this incredibly well.
In the fall of 2008 Lugz shot on to the Mixed Martial Arts scene signing its first two MMA fighters, Lyoto Machida and Houston Alexander, as endorsers. With MMA becoming the fastest growing sport/entertainment platform with an increasingly growing fan base, Lugz was excited to be a part of this growing trend and later signed Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. In 2010, Cain Velasquez, who currently ranks #2 in the MMA heavyweight division, became the newest endorser of Lugz. From its inception, Lugz footwear has been an innovator in the footwear market from its trend-setting styles such as the Strutt, Drifter, and Charger, to creating signature styles beyond boots, and has added casual shoes and athletics to the mix for the Lugz men, Lugz women and Lugz kids lines.

Great Buy - I bought these shoes as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he just flipped when he opened them. I loved seeing the look on his face because he just loved them. He said they fit great and they are very comfy. They are definitely a great buy and I would recommend them to anyone. So much in fact that I also bought him the Lugz Strut in brown. He was very grateful.

Old school - I’m 40 years of age and I’ve been wearing Lugz for as long as I can remember. I own 20 pairs of Lugz, everything from Strutt, Drifter, Brigade, and Outback. Lugz shoes is the only shoe I would wear and buy... true to comfort, size, and style.
Brands I'd also recommend: Brigade, Drifter, Granger, and Outback

Best buy ever :) Seriously, these shoes are pretty comfy, so excited that I'll probably buy those for my Dad on Thanksgiving. Modern design and nice texture drives a lot of compliments to me. Also, thanks Zappos for the perfect customer service.

Comfy - I got the black/gum color and I wear them almost everyday because they are very comfortable and practically go with anything that you're wearing. These shoes are also sturdy and looks real good (complimented all the time). Get em...as a matter of fact, stock up.

Lugz Strutt- I would really like this shoe if it fit properly. I put the shoe on and it felt a full size larger than marked, otherwise I would have been completely satisfied. It might have been because they are slip ons though.
Brands I'd also recommend: Any Luggs with laces

Worth Searching For - This is a great shoe! Unfortunately, it's very difficult to find in retail outlets. You better buy it here while they've got 'em in stock.

Awesome shoes!!! I'm now on my second pair of these shoes... the first pair were worn religiously for pretty much a year straight and are STILL in great condition (and I'm hard on shoes). I ordered the 2nd pair in a different color this time just to mix things up, but they are just as nice/comfortable as my first pair!

Wheat Strutt - I bought the Wheat color Lugz Strutt and I love these shoes. They are so comfortable its unbelievable. They are built extremely well and solid and won't fall apart on you by any means. Just use some good Nubuck/Suede protection products and they will keep their new appearance for even longer. They are very true to fit. My foot is a size 12 and a bit wide and the size 12 Strutt fit perfectly. Gave me the perfect amount of room front to back and side to side. They are so comfy you dont even know you are wearing them. Definitely a great pair of shoes all around. They look hot too. I wear them with jeans for the most part. Anyways, they are great shoes and worth every penny.

Saw these shoes, thought they looked feminine. Confirmed that they were men's shoes and tried them on, and (they were the only black Lugz available) and they looked very good and were extremely comfortable.

Lugz's Strutt Consumer Review - The styling of the shoe and the placement of the Logo on the shoe itself were the first things to catch my eye. Once I purchased the shoe, I found the construction of the shoe to be outstanding as well, another consideration was the pricing of the shoe and given the above attributes was a good return for my money. I recently purchased a pair as a X-mas gift. I would recommend this shoe to anyone.

Excellent - I had been looking for the Lugz strutt in a size thirteen for weeks. Zappos is the only one that notified me when they got them in. I ordered immediately and have been completely satisfied with the look and feel of this shoe. Thanks!
