What a GREAT SHOE! Please don't stop making them! My husband first purchased this shoe in a shoe store near by last year and said it was the most comfortable shoe he had ever worn. Then I found them on Zappos on sale, and now he wants another pair, and they are out of stock. To the manufacturer, PLEASE DON"T STOP MAKING THEM!!! WONDERFUL!

Lugs Drifter - I have worn just about every brand shoe. I ware this style shoe for work and have done the same job for 40 years. Seven years ago I was given a pair of LUGS as a gift. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Since then I have bought 3 pairs and have been very happy with the quality and the comfort, (from the first day I put on brand new LUGZ they are comfortable, no break in time).

Lugz for Men - These are the same Lugz I have ordered for years for my husband. They are rugged and lightweight and fit perfect every time. As always, Zappos is fantastic and ships immediately.

About Lugz
Always an innovator and leader in urban footwear, Lugz first made a name for itself in October of 1993, bringing its first line of boots to market, with the initial product consisting of two styles of boots, a quilted vest and a pair of jeans.
Soon Lugz was endorsed by key players from the world of hip hop and has continued to do so throughout the years. One of such collaborations led to Lugz breathing life to a whole new category of footwear with the introduction of the first ever celebrity-endorsed "Funk Master Flex" urban driving shoe. This was only the beginning, as support then led to a collaborative line with hip-hop superstar Bryan "Baby" Williams, aka "Birdman" with his own series of sneakers and boots.
In 2006, Orange County Choppers, the world's premier builders of custom motorcycles, signed on to endorse Lugz shoes, which they were already wearing so it was a natural fit. With its aggressive "built for the city reputation", Lugz collaborated with Paul Teutul Jr to create a signature Lugz shoe, "the Torx", which interpreted this incredibly well.
In the fall of 2008 Lugz shot on to the Mixed Martial Arts scene signing its first two MMA fighters, Lyoto Machida and Houston Alexander, as endorsers. With MMA becoming the fastest growing sport/entertainment platform with an increasingly growing fan base, Lugz was excited to be a part of this growing trend and later signed Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. In 2010, Cain Velasquez, who currently ranks #2 in the MMA heavyweight division, became the newest endorser of Lugz. From its inception, Lugz footwear has been an innovator in the footwear market from its trend-setting styles such as the Strutt, Drifter, and Charger, to creating signature styles beyond boots, and has added casual shoes and athletics to the mix for the Lugz men, Lugz women and Lugz kids lines.

I bought these for my nephew as he is a drum major and always on his feet. He tried them on and couldn't believe how comfortable they were. He loves them!! Thanks Zappos for such wonderful service!

I love my Lugz! I've been wearing Lugz for a few years now. I use them for a light work boot and casual dress boot. I've tried other brands, but these are the best looking, most comfortable boots I've ever owned. There is no break-in period. And the price is very reasonable for what you get! I bought two pairs this time, black and coffee bean, and am satisfied with both. Both pair fit perfect and look great! And the service that Zappos gives you is unbelievable! I'll never shop at the mall again!

Very chic. Ok on comfort - they are not UNcomfortable, but the heel is high for me, so I won't be able to wear them for hours and hours at a time. I love them with skirts and dark denim for going out. Seychelles always run big for me...I wear a 7 - 7 1/2 --> I ordered a 6 1/2 and they fit well.

This is my favorite shoe - I have been buying the Lugz Drifter forever, although I usually get the higher cut. I bought the lo cut by accident, and was worried that it might be hard on my heel to break in. However, this shoe was just as comfortable and broke in the first day I wore it. I walk for miles around NYC in this boot and it still feels great. The only problem with this shoe is that if you get the nubuck it gets dirty quickly, and it is not waterproof. I prefer this shoe over the Timberland, which is harder to break in, and doesn't have as much toe room. I do add an arch support, and wear double socks, because I have sensitive feet. What is great about this boot is that there is room for that.

This shoe is great, the size is right on for me. I love the way they feel and fit. I would buy them again in a heart beat. This is the second, or third product I have bought from Zappos and am very pleased with their service. I had to make a phone call to them for something and in seconds I was talking to a real person. I have purchased a number of pair of these shoes and they are a good bargain. Fit well and hold up well against my daily use. I think this is about my fourth pair and I have also purchased the high top version as well. I feel that they are a good bargain.

Excellent service by Zappos at getting these Lugz sent out fast. They are very comfortable, I usually work in a harsh terrain 12 hours a day, worked in mud, rocks, these boots take anything and after the day is over throw some water over them and they look like new again, not one scratch on the boots.

I had worn out a pair of Lugz Drifters, after 1-1/2 years of constant wear. However, shoe stores in my area no longer carried my style or my size. So I found Zappos on the web and ordered a new pair. Shipping was fast and I love 'em!
