LUGZ | HISTORY
Always an innovator and leader in urban footwear, Lugz first made a name for itself in October of 1993, bringing its first line of boots to market, with the initial product consisting of two styles of boots, a quilted vest and a pair of jeans.
Soon Lugz was endorsed by key players from the world of hip hop and has continued to do so throughout the years. One of such collaborations led to Lugz breathing life to a whole new category of footwear with the introduction of the first ever celebrity-endorsed "Funk Master Flex" urban driving shoe. This was only the beginning, as support then led to a collaborative line with hip-hop superstar Bryan "Baby" Williams, aka "Birdman" with his own series of sneakers and boots.
In 2006, Orange County Choppers, the world's premier builders of custom motorcycles, signed on to endorse Lugz shoes, which they were already wearing so it was a natural fit. With its aggressive "built for the city reputation", Lugz collaborated with Paul Teutul Jr to create a signature Lugz shoe, "the Torx", which interpreted this incredibly well.
In the fall of 2008 Lugz shot on to the Mixed Martial Arts scene signing its first two MMA fighters, Lyoto Machida and Houston Alexander, as endorsers. With MMA becoming the fastest growing sport/entertainment platform with an increasingly growing fan base, Lugz was excited to be a part of this growing trend and later signed Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. In 2010, Cain Velasquez, who currently ranks #2 in the MMA heavyweight division, became the newest endorser of Lugz.
From its inception, Lugz footwear has been an innovator in the footwear market from its trend-setting styles such as the Strutt, Drifter, and Charger, to creating signature styles beyond boots, and has added casual shoes and athletics to the mix for the Lugz men, Lugz women and Lugz kids lines.

My fiancee LOVES these! nice, clean look and stylish. Plus, the steel toe makes it a no-brainer for work. He looks presentable when need be while keeping his feet safe and comfy. Loves them!
The material is great but overall the shoe did not meet my expectation. The sole is very thick and inflexible. Kinda looks and feels like it was designed for Herman The Monster or the creature from Frankenstein . As always Zappos delivered on time as promised so it was not a completely negative experience.
The shoe looked great! The downfall is that these aren't the best shoes to go out and about in. Great for days on looking nice. Not good for a person with wide feet, took about a month to start breaking in. Really messed up my feet. It goes with about any type of style! But your feet are going to hurt.

The shoes took a few days to "break" in and "stretch" out. They also were very squeaky when walking around the first few days but once they settled in the shoes are fantastic!
I ordered a pair of shoes from Zappos, after I submitted my order I realized I ordered the wrong size. It was about 1100pm and luckily Zappos has 24 hour service so I was able to change the order before it shipped and I'm wearing the shoes now and love them!
Great shoe! Stylish and comfortable. I bought them for my husband for christmas and he was very pleased.
I am very pleased with my drifters. They are comfortable and are easy to break in. I did not like the laces so I replaced them with leather laces. Made them easier to lace up.
Ordering was a breeze; shoe is exactly what needed for job (according to my husband). Best work shoe for heavy construction and travel. Lighter weight then most, so they don't weigh down the suitcase, and fit well with good support so your foot isn't tired after walking and standing all day.
These have been a fantastic pair of boots. I did end up having some heel pain and put in some additional support. However, they have been through a lot and have held up well. Definitely worth a look at these.
Got it for my roommate for work. Durable. Scuff proof...but already destroyed the front from a "scuffle" with cement.

Everything was super easy! My order was at my doorstep within 2 days and everything was perfect. I would recommend Zappos to anyone looking for quick service. I am a very satisfied and happy customer.
These are a great shoes! One of the reasons I bought them is because they are gray instead of the traditional brown or black. They fit great and I've been happy with them. Oh...and I ordered them late on a Saturday night and had them by Monday! Let's hear it again for Zappos!
Toes are a little uncomfortable. I bought a size 9 when really I wear 8.5 just in case and they were still a little uncomfortable due to the steel toe. But I would recommend them. Keep in mind though these are the first steel toes I've owned or worn for that matter.
Gave this as a valentine gift for my husband! He loved it! Nice color to match with any clothes & very comfy.
I love them, that's my second pair. The shipping is the best. Ordered them Tuesday, got them Wednesday. Way to go Zappos.

I have had this shoe for a very short time so far. However, the style is fantastic. Love the look! The comfort for everyday would be fine but I work 12 hour shifts on a freight dock and after hour 4 I am ready to tear my feet off and my back is killing me. After reading the reviews I thought this would be a good work boot for me but it is not the one I have since ordered a different type and will use these for casual wear. Not only that but in my line of work my shoes are abused and these scuffed the 1st day back to work with them.
