Please order a size down from your normal size...maybe even a full size and half. These boots are extremely huge. They look like a mens boot! I will give the smaller boot a try, but cute or not, it is does not fit or look right. I'm sending back again. I will try the 7.5 but still skeptical. Maybe a size 7 would have fit better, but they no longer had a size 7. Still very difficult to know how the 7.5 will fit till I try them on. A thick sock will not work...who does that anyway?

Fabulous boot, stops people in their tracks to comment on their beauty, very comfortable, but they do run big, I bought a 7.5 and could have worn a 7 and usually wear an 8, great quality!

Generally cowboy boots need to be ordered a full size smaller than your foot. For me 1½ sizes smaller fit perfect in these. These are beautifully handcrafted boots. I cannot say enough good things about these. Also the circumference is narrower than most boots, although I wish they were slightly narrower.

I was worried about the reviews on the size and how they ran large, but I got my regular size 6.5 as they were not available any smaller. They fit perfectly. The heel is not as snug as my fashion boots, but not so loose as to be uncomfortable when walking. The boot fits nice and snug in the arch and across the top of the foot, and the toe box is comfortable. They are not wide on the top like some western boots, so if you want to wear jeans tucked in them they need to be skinny jeans. I do not have large calves or ankles, and there is not a whole lot of room in the shaft for folding over wide leg jeans, but I think they look nice that way. They do not look at all like men's boots either, they look long, due to the pointed toe, but are definitely tapered and feminine. All in all, a beautiful boot and nicely made.

I have a wide foot, a high arch and a high instep. I can wear an 8 1/2 in a sandal but wear a 9 in most full shoes. I always have to size up in boots, usually a 10, but the 9 1/2 in these are perfect and I love the understated, sophisticated and beautifully made animal print. 100 stars!

These boots are beautifully made and are perhaps most beautiful as objects in themselves. Just be prepared for an exaggerated pointed toe that elongates the foot and some hand-crafted asymmetry between the two boots, as I found with my pair. They were comfortable from day one and have plenty of room for my mid-size calves. To Zappos, the speedy delivery was great but why did you put them on sale just after I ordered them (when only one size was available)? Frustrating!

Boy did these boots give me a run for the money but I am glad I stuck with it. I took the advice and went half a size smaller to a 8½. Those were too tight and the left boot was damaged as if there was a cut in the leather. I sent them back to exchange for a 9. These boost felt a little big but OK. However, they were also was defective, with the same type of slash thru the upper on one of the boots, plus I know they are hand made, but it was ridiculous the asymmetry between the left and right. I sent this pair back and exchanged for another 9. By then I think the customer service people thought I was a nut. I get the 9, open it with trepidation and figured if this pair was not right I was just going to call it a day. This pair was not damaged but they felt huge and fit sloppily. I had them all packed up ready to send back and thought that I would try one more time. I called and had them exchanged for an 8½. I received them, was scared to even open the box... But this time the angels sung! They fit perfectly. The leather was in perfect condition. They were absolutely perfect. These are the most beautiful boots hands down. My advice would be if you are having a hard time with fit, try on some different sizes as there is a huge discrepancy not only between the same sizes but different sizes as well. As much as I love these boots, I am only going to give them three stars overall because of the manufacturing issues. The comfort and the style received five stars. I do not really think the Luchesse company checks these boots twice. Zappos customer service was awesome as usual and even gave me a credit because of all the problems.

I never spent so much on cowboy boots in my life! But I had to buy these! I have been buying a lot of leopard from QVC.com lately (some faux fur coats that are beautiful) and these boots fit perfectly! They are are so gorgeous and soft. They have a comfortable low heel. They fit me perfectly. The first time I put them on I felt like I was Cinderella trying on the glass slipper! I am serious! They fit that well! For those who are on the fence about buying this pair of boots. Just do without potato chips and the beers you do not need for a couple of months. That stuff does not last, but these boots will! They are one of the best investments in footwear I ever made.

Amazing boots...very discreet leopard yet no question you are fashion forward! They run really big so I wear a 9-9 1/2 and I ordered an 8 to fit properly after trying three different sizes. These are awesome boots. No break in period. Rock these boots and have fun with them!

These are the best boots I've ever owned! They are soft and so comfortable. I love the style and the leopard print! I get tons of compliments when I wear these. I got a size 8. I wear 8.5 in sneakers and some of my other boots. I hate things too tight. These fit perfectly.

These boots are drop dead gorgeous. They looks better in person. This is a very nice color combination with the wingtip design. I was so disappointed the 7½M was a perfect fit on my left foot, however the right boot was huge (fall off huge), this was just a misfit pair. I hated to return these boots. I put my name on the wait list for a 7 and 7½M. I usually wear 7½ or 8M in most other boots.

The best buy ever! I'm a fairly frugal shopper but these boots were worth every penny! Needed very little breaking in. Wore them brand new and danced all night without a problem. Soft leather and a nice sized heel. No matter where I go people comment on them and in a good way. These boots are not your average run of the mill boots. Sharp and edgy, but with class! Well made - I will have these boots for the rest of my life!

Just received my boots in the mail and I love them. Absolutely, no break in time needed. Slipped them on and felt like I've had them forever! I usually wear a size 7 and bought a size 6 1/2 (after reading the reviews), and they fit perfectly. Great arch support, snug on the top of the foot, and they smell great. Think I'll get buried in them as they will live on long after me.
