Absolutely love the look of my new boots. Haven't actually worn them yet, but have tried them on several times with socks. Ordered the C width as have bought Lucchese in the past, and they do run narrow. They are true to length, though. The C width feels like a medium, but the leather is softer than most leather boots, so I think they will mold to my feet a little bit. They heel slips a little, which it's supposed to do. I'm just waiting until September to wear them with socks. Just sprayed them with Meltonian Stain and Water Protector which worked really well, and did not change the color of the boot. I live in Upstate New York, so definitely need to protect leather, as we have a lot of sloppy, wet weather. They are definitely the nicest looking, and best constructed boot I've ever owned. Can't wait to wear them.

Cool looking and comfortable. People notice these boots! They are comfortable from the first wearing and they look great. The Zappos photo makes the boots look more distressed than they actually are.

Brands I'd also recommend: Frye and Old Gringo

Love the boots. I normally wear a 7.5 to an 8 depending on the shoe though I actually measure a 7. I have a high instep and narrow heel also plantar fascitis. I tried these in 7, 7.5C, 7.5B and 8. I actually tried two different 7.5 B's. One of which fit perfectly, the other one was too loose. Wore them around the house on carpet for a few days to double check and decided to wear them today. Extremely comfortable, just the right heel, seems like good arch support, but the day will tell later on. While the heel slips, the boot isn't clunky to wear around. Looks great with jeans and the pointy toe with the squared off end looks like high fashion boots peaking out of the pants not just a cowboy look. I provided my normal size and foot shape because that information is the most helpful to me when I read reviews. Highly recommend.

All I can say is that if you do not own at least 1 pair of Lucchese boots, find a way to! I have purchased several Lucchese boots from Zappos and the comfort is consistent. These boots feels like you are wearing slippers! Thanks Zappos for great service and super fast shipping!

The Lucchese story starts in 1880 when Sam Lucchese Sr. and his brothers came to America. He was just 17 years old at the time, but Lucchese knew he wanted to be a boot maker. Just three years later, the Lucchese Boot Company was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1960 the founder´s grandson and namesake took over the family business and decided to rethink the art of boot making. Sam Lucchese Jr.´s fascination and understanding of the human foot inspired him to create a boot design that fit like no other. Although Lucchese´s one-of-a-kind boot's last design required more skill and time, the result was a boot that quickly gained national recognition for its extraordinary comfort, quality and fit.

No other boot fits the human foot like a Lucchese boot, thanks to Lucchese's original design and meticulous construction. From the exclusive "twisted cone last" design and the careful selection and cutting of the finest grade of leather, to the hand-drive lemon wood pegs and meticulous finishing of a boot. Each step is considered critical to the finished product. The boot designs may demand more money, time and skill, but when you slip your foot into a Lucchese boot, you'll know why we insist on only the finest.

Every Lucchese boot is hand inspected twice. In virtually every procedure during the production on a Lucchese boot, human hands are relied upon to complete the task to near-perfection. Every inch of a Lucchese boot is made of the finest grade of leathers. Slip your foot into a Lucchese and experience comfort you never thought possible.
