Very nice looking boots and super soft leather. The color is subdued for a red and I think would look great with lots of outfits. The stitching is subtle and nice. For some reason the left foot I found to have a lump under my arch. I'm not sure if a soft insert would take care of that problem, but I found after wearing them around the house for a little while it really bothered me. No problem with the right boot, only the left. I found this same problem with the saddle colored boot of this same style, too, so not sure what that's all about. I might order another pair in the same size to see if they are the same because these are a nice, comfortable boot otherwise. True to size, in my opinion.

I LOVE these boots! They fit like a glove and didn't require any breaking in. I was concerned about the sizing...thought I might need to go up a 1/2 size. But I ordered my correct size and they are the most comfortable shoes I own! The color is a deep red, almost brownish so they actually go well with many things. I am tempted to order another pair in a different color. I am so delighted to have experienced such a quality boot. Shipping was fast as well. I get compliments every time I wear them! Go for it!

The thing I value about Zappos is their return policy, the quality of the merchandise, and the efficient ordering process. Oh! Last but not least, I love their quick response to my orders! I recently ordered a pair of boots in a size 8. When they got here, 2 days later, I began to wonder if the 7 1/2 boot size would give me a better fit. I went online, ordered the smaller size, and in 1 1/2 days I was able to make the decision by comparing which boot gave me the best fit. With the label and information that was included, I returned the pair of boots that I didn't want and was happy with my choice. I never had to leave my home, I never had to haggle with someone over the phone or listen to several voice messages to get the right person. I love the ease, convenience, and quality Zappos offers to me as a customer every time. Thank you to everyone who works for this company. I believe you do care that the customer is happy!

An absolutely gorgeous red! The leather is super soft; for me, I always need to go 1/2 size up in Lucchese, as they are built on a narrow last - I have a normal width feett - and no, going wide doesn't fit right in these (I tried)!

If you are looking for a pair of red boots, but not something that screams look at my feet. This Lucchese style is for you. The finish is subtle and works well with navy, brown, gray and reds. The fit is true to size and very comfortable. It's my first pair from this brand and certainly won't be my last. Thanks to Zappos for their quick shipping and return policy. This allowed me to try on a couple of styles at home before making a final decision.

I love these boots! They fit from the first second I put them on. Of course with any boot like this you have to wiggle and struggle a little to pull on, but once on, they were actually comfortable! (My foot is not narrow, so I was prepared to have to break them in.) They are also sexy - feminine cowboy boots. The color is beautiful, a deep muted red, toward brown. And they are "lean" looking, not clunky like my Fryes. (But, which I also love.) I wear them a lot!

I ordered these as a size replacement for another boot which was my first choice, but did not fit. The size 7 in these was a good fit, my usual size being a 7+1/2 narrow. But the color was not to my liking. "Ranch Hand Red" is more of a rust, than red. And I prefer a taller 13" shaft, these are only 11". Thank you Zappos for wonderful service.

As other reviewers suggested I ordered 1/2 size down. Perfect fit, leather lining is glove-soft, color is a classy antiqued red not in your face bright but not too brown either. Shaped so that the cowboy cankle look is eliminated. Notice the well-shaped way the foot and ankle come together in the front). I couldn't be happier.
