These are the best boots in the world! I have never owned a pair of boots that fit this well and are this much fun (and I have a lot of boots). If you are shy and don't like to talk to strangers, do not get this boot. Because I guarantee that every time you wear them you will be stopped by total strangers who will go berserk with admiration. In fact, I'm surprised they have any of these boots left. I have personally sent dozens of people to the Zappos website to buy a pair. These boots are so easy to get on that I can literally "step" into them. And getting them off only requires the slightest touch on the heel for support, no yanking your back out or asking someone to help you. The leather is very soft and the boots come with a "broken in" feeling. Lots of room in the foot bed for my yoga toes. I can (and do) wear them all day long. These boots are worth 3 times what they charge for them. Just buy them.

Absolutely gorgeous! Nothing else needs to be said. The look is so on point, the material is extraordinary and the fit is superb. I simply adore western/cowgirl boots and these, I'm sure will be my favorites. The colors make them oh so versatile and soothing to the eyes. Thank you Zappos. You've done it again.

Fabulous boot! Had to have a pair of these, it is such a pretty boot; love the blue and red together. I ordered them and they were in my hands 24 hours later, no extra charge for overnight shipping, great job Zappos! I usually wear a 6 1/2 to a 7, I ordered a 7 as they didn't have a 6 1/2 in stock, plus many of the commenter said that they run small. Well, they actually felt a 1/2 size larger so I did what one commenter suggested and bought some insoles, worked perfectly, they fit like a glove now. I'm very happy with these boots, a very comfortable, strikingly beautiful, well made boot!

If you have wide feet - If you love this boot and have wide feet, don't despair. I have a shoe size 7C, and the Lucchese Mad Dog 1883 boot, which comes in a C width and has a blunt toe, fits perfectly. When I read that this beautiful boot ran narrow and has a very pointy toe, I thought I would order an 8. As only an 8 1/2 was available, I gave it a try, a longshot. Well, it was a little big, but I put an insole in, and that did it, fits like a glove. I'm not slipping forward at all because the instep is snug. So, I would recommend ordering a full size up from your shoe size if you have a wide foot. This is a truly beautiful boot.

Additional Brand Information

The Lucchese story starts in 1880 when Sam Lucchese Sr. and his brothers came to America. He was just 17 years old at the time, but Lucchese knew he wanted to be a boot maker. Just three years later, the Lucchese Boot Company was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1960 the founder’s grandson and namesake took over the family business and decided to rethink the art of boot making. Sam Lucchese Jr.’s fascination and understanding of the human foot inspired him to create a boot design that fit like no other. Although Lucchese’s one of a kind boot last design required more skill and time, the result was a boot that quickly gained national recognition for its extraordinary comfort, quality and fit.

No other boot fits the human foot like a Lucchese boot, thanks to Lucchese's original design and meticulous construction. From the exclusive "twisted cone last" design and the careful selection and cutting of the finest grade of leather, to the hand-drive lemon wood pegs and meticulous finishing of a boot. Each step is considered critical to the finished product. The boot designs may demand more money, time and skill, but when you slip your foot into a Lucchese boot, you'll know why we insist on only the finest.

Every Lucchese boot is hand inspected twice. In virtually every procedure during the production on a Lucchese boot, human hands are relied upon to complete the task to near-perfection. Every inch of a Lucchese boot is made of the finest grade of leathers. Slip your foot into a Lucchese and experience comfort you never thought possible.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL - This is my 4th pair of Luccheses and I'll never buy another brand. I got these boots about 2 weeks ago and I have gotten so may compliments. Friends that do not normally wear western boots are eyeing these beauties. They do seem to run small, my other 3 pairs of Luccheses are 6 and these are 6 1/2. The colors are outstanding, and the comfort is that of a boot that has been worn for years. I'm now on a quest for my 5th pair of Luccheses, so many great boots to choose from.

Spectacular boots, great service - Beautiful boots, fit well. First pair shipped looked a little worn; Zappos sent replacement next day, which were great, then even applied a discount when price was lowered 2 weeks later! Superb, fast, friendly service- spread the word!

Love, Love these boots - This was my first pair of 'western' boots, I love them. A bit difficult to get on at first, I have a very high instep, BUT I used a wooden shoe stretcher and misted the leather so it would stretch. They fit like a glove and are so comfortable! So many comments -- the NYC favorite!

BEAUTIFUL BOOT!! VERY NARROW!! I own several pairs of Lucchese boots and this pair by far is the most narrow. I already have a narrow foot and I can only wear these with a stocking. So if your foot isn't narrow forget this beautiful boot! It is very comfortable and I didn't need to break it in at all just like all of my Lucchese boots!

These boots are a little tight across the front of my foot. Other then that, I love the look. I have only have wore them a few times, I'm hoping they will loosen up. They are not uncomfortable, therefore no need for a return.

Pretty! Lucchese makes fantastic boots! The fancy heel pattern (overlay) however does a number on the hems of clothing. So, don't wear a delicate hem because the heel pattern will tear it out. Stupid fashion mistake on my part! But, these boots are so pretty that I want to show them off! Because these boots are hand made, they may differ in sizing a slight bit! Since, I am familiar with the way Lucchese's boots fit my foot, I called Zappos to have them send me another pair of the exact same size- which they did the next day! Fast service! No hassels! Great boot! Fantastic buying experience!

These are the best! Beyond fabulous look and feel to these boots! Definitely order your true size. They mold perfectly to your foot. Such showstoppers and the price for this much detail and workmanship is one of the best deals Lucchese has to offer! I wouldn't wear any other brand of western boot. You'll be hooked once trying this brand.

Lucchese addict - "Wow" Great Boots, absolutely gorgeous. Had a little problem getting them on and the heel feels a little big, but I believe they are going to work-out wonderful. I will be spending more of my hard earned money with Zappos. Great customer service & Representatives. You are #1 with me. Keep up the good work...

A fine representation of grand ol' Texas! Y’all will want to walk to El Paso, Texas to thank the makers of this incredible boot. It is delicious - fabulous - full o' fun with lots of kick! I have the most finicky feet this side of the Rio Grande but, these boots were heaven - right out of the box. Heaven in a boot for sure!

Another fabulous Lucchese boot - I just got these today (ordered them yesterday - yeah Zappos!) and I had to write a review. These boots are waaaaayyy more beautiful in person. The craftsmanship, the colors and the vintage styling make this boot stunning. Comfortable out of the box, which has been my experience with all the Lucchese boots.

Bold and Beautiful! These babies are as gorgeous as other reviewers have noted, but definitely not for you if you don't like your feet to draw attention. They're eye grabbers! Excellent fit right out of the box; I wear a 9.5 in Charlie 1 Horse and Frye; ordered a 9.5 in these and they were fine. Be sure you know you're buying a shorty boot--at 10", the shaft on these is quite short. Not much of a problem with jeans, of course, and the shorter height should be nice for summer. I almost couldn't wait for these boots to arrive, and thanks to Zappos' amazing service, I almost didn't have to. I placed the order Saturday evening; they arrived the following Tuesday. I've never dealt with another company that does it as well or as fast!

Lucchese N4513- Earth and Sky- I really, really wanted to love these boots. I had been eyeing these boots for several months, and when they went on sale, I saw my chance. All the reviews were stellar, and as I am into boots, I thought that these would be a great addition to my cowboy collection (which now includes Frye, Old Gringo, and 2 pairs of Roper boots). Alas, I was in for a disappointment. Although these boots are as gorgeous as all the other reviewers said, they are simply too narrow for my wide forefoot. The toe is quite pointy, and it just wouldn't accommodate my foot. Sadly, I am sending them back. However, on the bright side, I ordered the Frye Lily boot in antique gold at the same time, and I adore those boots! They are not quite as eye-catching as these Lucchese boots, but they are much more comfortable for me, and beautiful in a more subdued, vintage way.

WHEN YOU'RE READY FOR THE REAL THING... Ok,if you worship at the altar of Zappos and are thinking of springing for a pair of these babies, you obviously want to make a statement. I love what one customer wrote (and she's dead on): "These are not for beginners". If you think that the boots will wear YOU, rather than the other way around, look for something less flamboyant. The color combination is at once strange--and absolutely compelling. Photos do not do justice to the beautiful robin's egg blue leather, and the red shaft is a gorgeous carmine. The woman who covets these boots loves to strut her stuff (you know who you are). The fit is a bit different than shoes--the boot fits snugly around the instep and has some give in the heel. If you're tempted to buy 1/2 a size smaller, resist. (This is especially tempting to size 9s and up--you know it's true!) The heel does has some give; if that's a problem, play with socks and heel grips until you feel comfortable. Your toes will thank you after having worn them for many hours; you'll grow accustomed to the style (and get spoiled by the comfort and craftsmanship). One thing--the shaft is on the short side and somewhat wide, so if you want to wear these with skirts, you need good legs--or a longish skirt. Zappos sent these overnight--rock on, Zappos! Enjoy!! (P.S.) If your pair doesn't fit, return them just the way you got them, please! Stuffing and all! Walk on carpet!! There's another rabid Zappos customer waiting for her chance to enjoy those brand-new shoes or boots!

NO BETTER BOOT- Kudos and accolades for Lucchese. This style is just gorgeous and fits like a dream. Felt as if I was walking on air. By far the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. True to size.
