Most Impressive - I'm glad I found these. They are well made, and the angled seven-toe provides a sharp, stylish, almost metropolitan look. When I wear them, I forget I have them on, as they are quite comfortable. No shoe has presence quite like that of a western boot which has been properly designed and executed. These Lucchese boots, for what they are worth, deliver without missing a beat.

Andrea from Bryn Mawr - These are the first pair of Lucchese 1883 boots that my husband has owned, I own many, many pairs myself - I have a thing about Lucchese 1883 boots! My husband had purchased a pair previously through Zappos, but they didn't fit. We sent them back with absolutely NO PROBLEM, for free - as is typical with Zappos. The second pair fit him like a glove, and he loves them. Zappos and Lucchese 1883 boots are the only way to go when buying footwear on the web!!!

My overall review of the Lucchese is excellence. I have never worn a pair of western boots that were so comfortable, soft, and with the superb styling. I am totally satisfied and I would recommend them to anyone.

These are the fourth pair of Lucchese boots I have given my husband and they may be the best yet. They are understated, classy, and look terrific. My husband says the comfort is top notch and the fit true to size. I'd like to recommend them wholeheartedly, but my husband might be upset if everyone starts wearing his boots.

I cannot believe how comfortable these boots are. They required absolutely no breaking in. I am very hard on boots as I am a limousine driver. I can tell you these boots not only hold up, but they are like putting on an extra pair of socks. This is the second pair of Lucchese boots I own. The others are a pair of Wellingtons and they are superb. I will be wearing this brand and only this brand in the future.

These are nice looking boots but when I unpacked them I noticed the stitching on the right boot was coming undone. I'm afraid that they will get worse so I will most likely return them. Zappos shipping was very fast; it's just too bad the quality control wasn't better.

Love the boots. Very nice construction and extremely soft leather. I normally wear a size 9 shoe, but needed to go to a size 8 Lucchese.

The best cowboy boots ever. American made, squared toe, perfect. You may think these are on the spendy side, but the quality is bar none. Also got these in the brown. I plan on having these around for a long time. Buy 'em, you wont regret it!

Fabulous boots! This is my husbands second pair. He loved them so much and received so many compliments on them that he wanted another pair. They fit like a glove the first time he put them on and were extremely comfortable with no break-in period required.

These boots were a huge hit with my husband! This was his first pair of cowboy boots. He usually wears a 10.5-11 and I stressed about the size. I got the 10.5 baaed on other reviews. They fit like a glove! The quality is exceptional! I will definitely purchase Lucchese in the future!

After trying on a pair at a local store I knew I had my size right. Unfortunately no one had the Ranch Hand style in my size. Being 6'5", the 2½" heel was needed as to avoid being any more of a giant. The outer leather is goat and very soft, more so than the Mad Dog as others have mentioned. So soft that you need to watch yourself when going up concrete stairs for example. The outer leather nicks very easily. By no means a drawback but I would not ride a horse in them. I rock these bad boys at work, except with black slacks, whenever possible. The inner leather is calf and equally as soft. The only break in I experienced is that getting them off became easier after the fifth or sixth wear. Other than that they were comfortable from day one. I am from Texas and live in Austin but at 32 years of age this is my first pair. We do not ride horses here as some people assume.

I bought these boots for my husband and he absolutely loved them! They are of good leather material, he did not have problems putting them on. He said they fit like a glove and they look ruggedly elegant on him. We are fans of Lucchese boots. This is the third pair of Lucchese boots we bought - and so far we have no complaints.
