The right ones... I recently purchased the Lucchese boot, N1560 from Zappos.com and have been nothing short of thrilled since I promptly received my order (just two business days in my case). The boots are of high quality and reasonably low cost. I spent no less than one year looking for a pair of these boots locally and on line before finding the right place/right style/right price. What a deal!

Yet Another Winner!!! Now, I have this boot in three different colors. I have never had even a Lucchese boot to fit as comfortably and look as great as the Mad Dog Goat boots. These boots go great not only with jeans, but also with khakis. I highly recommend a boot lover to get a pair of these in any of the three colors before they're gone!!!

Killer boots! I have tried these on numerous times at the local boot store. They didn't have the color I wanted and they were $25 more plus tax, so I gave Zappos a try. These boots are awesome and Zappos is too! I got them two days after they shipped!

The perfect fit is really true, no break period, put in and go with Lucchese first class, with my size 9.5D the boots fit perfect. And for Zappos people, I know you hear this many times, but you are the best.

So Soft! These boots fit like a glove the first day I got them. I can wear them all day and they feel great. The one problem I found is if I wear them dancing, when they really warm up, they loosen up too much and the heel slips. The goat leather seems to stretch a lot more easily than cowhide. I bought a wide pair and think I would have done better with a standard width given how much more they stretched compared to other cowhide boots I’ve bought. If you’re only going for day to day walking around comfort, order your usual size – they’re great. If you need them to be snug or form fitting for dancing, go either a size smaller or a little more narrow and let them stretch out. It’s a weird catch 22 situation with these.

Great Boot - This is the second pair of Lucchese boots I have purchased in two months. These boots are great. They look good and feel good. I love the snip toe and receive a lot of compliments when wearing these or my mad dog tan. Some people liked them so much they decided to buy their own from Zappos. I would like to buy the brown lizard but my wife would divorce me.

Classy Boot - Great boot! Bought these for my cowboy for Valentines Day- he loves them! Beautifully crafted, fine leather, great arch support and love that snip-toe! Awesome boots. He wears 10-11, regular to wide widths, I got the 10 1/2 Wide in these boots and they fit perfectly.

Internet Cowboy Boots - I have a weird foot, but I needed a pair of cowboy boots quickly for an upcoming trip. I risked ordering a pair via the Internet from Zappos. They arrived the day after I ordered them, freight free, and fit perfectly. I was amazed at the service, the quality of the product, and the efficiency of Zappos Web site. The next time I'm in the market for shoes of any kind, my first stop will be Zappos.

A lot more narrow than expected from reviews - These boots are worth every penny, but I had to try 3 pairs to figure out the sizing. I have never worn a wide shoe, and according to the reviews I figured these would be true to width. Not so. I'm an 11D, and the 11D was uncomfortably narrow, 11EE was a half size too big. 10.5EE was perfect. Zappos return service made me a happy customer.

Mark, from OH...IO! This is too easy. I ordered these boots at 1:45pm and received them by 10:45am the next day. Did I mention it was during the busiest Christmas shipping time of the year. Now, to the boot because Zappos is the bomb. I slipped them on and it was an instant marriage. What break in period? Not needed with the Lucchese. Gorgeous look and great feel. You can't go wrong with the Lucchese, and Zappos' customer service is a magician of service.

Great Boot But...... I was looking for a boot in black, I saw these and was thrilled because I wanted the shiny leather to wear dress or casual. They came overnight but they were distressed. I will keep them because I love them, but their photo needs to be changed, because it gives you the impression the leather shines when it does not. I need to have them professionally dyed and then polished so I can get the shine I'm looking for. I'm a Lucchese man, and all the boots I have felt great the first time.

Awesome boot and overall first time purchase experience! I bought these boots for my husband for Valentine’s Day and he is thrilled with them! I ordered them a half size larger on the recommendation of the reviews given. He says that they are the most comfortable footwear he has ever owned. Given the fact that there was no risk involved in losing any money due to the free shipping both ways, the purchase was a no brainer. I ordered them one day and they were there the very next day. Disappointed - So, I've heard how they fit like a glove as soon as you put them on, Zappos has the best price on Lucchese boots, you can put them on and wear them for 8 hours right out of the box, and all the other praise. I saved up enough money to finally buy a pair, got them, and the first thing I noticed was how dull the finish was on them. The second thing I noticed was how tight they were. I liked the style, so I decided to wear them around the house and see if they would loosen up a bit. They finally did, but I was going to send them back because I found them cheaper on three different web sites. Normally I don't shop for shoes, I just assume that Zappos has the best price. NOT ANY MORE! By the time I decided I was going to return them, I had worn them too much and the bottom was scuffed so I couldn't. Also, some of the decorative thread on them was frayed and I had to deal with that. I am not all that impressed with this boot for the price that I paid.

At last, a pair of wonderful boots - I had been looking around for a long time, and after seeing how Lucchese boots were made on the Discovery Channel "How It's Made" show, I decided to go for them. The last time I bought boots was 30 years ago! I love these boots - they're soft but hold your foot so comfortably. A real pleasure and even at this price, quite a steal.

Brands I'd also recommend: Santoni shoes are very comfortable dress shoes too.
