This is a beautiful boot. I had to return because I ordered the wrong size. I also have 15" calves, and even though the circumference of this boot is 15 1/2" it was just too snug. I wish it had fit. It's gorgeous. Remember that Lucchese boots have a special fit. I am normally an 8 or 8 1/2, but I wear a 7 1/2 in this brand of boot. They're supposed to fit snugly around your foot while still possibly feeling some heel slippage. The boot WILL conform and they'll be the most comfortable boots you've ever owned. I have two pairs and they are my favorite!!

I absolutely love these boots. They are gorgeous, the leather, color which I got the charcoal grey, and I love the buttons. They are really screwed in from the back, very vintage. I tried the Amelia first, but ultimately settled on these. They do run long, but seemed a tad narrower in width. Perhaps because of the tighter ankle area. If they offered half a size down I would go for it, however they do not so I will try thicker socks.
Brands I'd also recommend: Frye, Old gringo

Wow!!! These pups do run a whole size large! I wonder why someone doesn't just resize so it's not such a mystery! I had heard that the Classic line of Lucchese runs a whole size larger than normal. What I don't know is why this is so? It is surely confusing and it would surely keep you at Zappo's from so many returns. The size smaller fit me perfectly. Just like all my other Lucchese cowgirl boots fit. Narrow and long!
Brands I'd also recommend: Frye Lucchese Old gringo

What drew me to these boots at first was the styling. When I realized they were Lucchese I couldn't order fast enough! They are a gorgeous, quality, comfortable boot with a slightly edgy look. As other reviewers have mentioned they do run big--I ended up with a whole size smaller. They also fit my athletic calves due to the zipper and side goring. I wear them with skinny jeans and knee length skirts--Love them!

Gorgeous boot. I took the other reviewer's advice and ordered a full size smaller than my normal 7, and the fit is perfect. I have very thin legs and have a hard time finding boots that look right. It doesn't hug my leg but it looks nice. The rest of the fit is narrow, which also works for me. The boot is rugged without being too rugged, and chic without looking too polished. I bought these boots to wear with skits and dresses and they're perfect.

These are absolutely gorgeous feminine looking boots, that have beautiful styling and leather, as well as a great fit. The problem is that I have extremely skinny calves. These boots, I would say, are made for medium or narrow calves but not as skinny as mine. I am 5'11" and wear a size 11.

Gorgeous boots, it breaks my heart to return them but they do run a size large. This was the last pair in this size/color combination, so I hope they go to someone else who will love them.

These boots are even better than they look! I love them, super cute and comfortable, great height and true to other reviews ran a little big. I am a true 8 and ordered the 7.5 and they were perfect. I didn't want to go down any more as I thought they might be too narrow. Love the charcoal vintage color. The most beautiful boots I've ever owned!
