It is a matte finish so I use a gloss over it. I thought it was a really cute container but the mirror broke after just two uses. It fell out. I suppose I could try to glue it back in, but I am not sure what happened to it. A lot of money for a poorly made product.

I love this lipstick. It glides on and stays on for hours. I especially love the built-in mirror. I apply my lipstick many times a day and find that this one lasts me more than a month.

Some years back, Marshalls had a set of these lipsticks and I fell in love. This had been my first purchase of a higher end cream lipstick after Almay and Revlon because the coverage and color are great for me. Sure, the mirror fell off two days later, but the lipstick product itself I will always remember and thank you Zappos for carrying it. Here in Bergen County, NJ -- no LOLA cosmetics!
