The main reason I love this wallet is the slit on the back side. I keep just one credit card in this space which is the one that I always use. I never even have to open up the wallet. This allows me to just reach in my purse and pull out the card easily! So simple but very helpful!

Great color combination. Wallet is perfect size...not too big, not too small. Easy to organize credit cards and cash slips in and out easily. Leather is sturdy and stiff and seems durable. Love this wallet!

This wallet is almost perfect. I love French wallets for their size and efficiency. This one has all of the features I need. Before I bought this, I read the reviews on Zappos.com. One review mentioned that the license container sometimes slips out. I was glad to read that because I am now more careful. The container has never slipped out, but I can see how it might. That's a very minor detail in an otherwise almost perfect product.

They changed this wallet a little, liked the prior design - I have been buying this wallet, in different colors, for the past few years. I still love it more than any other wallet (hence the repeat purchases), especially the removable ID holder, but it opens up differently than it used to with the removable ID holder inside instead of on the flap. I liked it better the other way. It's a little awkward (hence the 4 star "comfort" rating) now.

Really lovely wallet - The leather is so soft, and when empty this "French purse" is almost weightless... which I love. It's more a wallet than a purse, and has beautiful leather throughout. Even a little separate section so if you want to remove your driver's license (for ID), it comes out in its own little leather holder. (Nice to show to a cop or a bartender?)

More of a lefty wallet - The bill pocket is oriented better for left-handers and is shorter than I'm used to, most likely since this wallet is European. I'm also not thrilled with the removable ID section. Opening the bill pocket is more difficult with the removable ID in place and the ID section has fallen out more than once. A metal clip is keeping it in place now. For looks, everything is fine, but the trim on the edges is shiny and does not add anything to the look of the wallet.

Great Wallet by Lodis - This is the first Lodis product that I have ever purchased, I am very pleased. Leather is high quality, color tone matched the photo, all the different compartments are fantastic to keep organized. Fits will in my smaller size purse too. As always, Zappos is the best for quality product and service.

Great look! I got this in yellow and I love the look. It has a lot of pockets for credit cards, but the pockets are kind of loose. I find the credit cards/membership cards can easily fall out. All in all, I really do like it though.

I really wanted to like this purse (I need a new one so badly), but I didn't like the way the drivers license holder didn't stay securely in place. I also felt the credit card slots would have been better reversed. The coin purse portion was nice because you could actually open it widely (unlike others that you have to squeeze your hand into). I'm returning it. The search goes on.

Great wallet...for a lefty! This is my 4th Lodis wallet. They are great wallets, they look good and hold their shape for a long time, and made of wonderful leather. Unfortunately, this wallet seems to open backwards for me, which makes me think that it would be perfect for a left handed person. Also, just a tad too big for me.

Nicely made - I didn't realize that the inside color was more of a red than on the pink side, but I still like it. I've dropped it a couple times and worried about the leather, but it's pretty sturdy and not easily scuffed. I love that there's a pocket on the back for easy access to my train pass. I also like the 2 options of grommet closures in case you have more stuffed into the wallet. Comes with a picture insert with several pages too.
