This is a good but not great bag. First of all, I consider Lipault luggage to be fairly expensive for what it is. I own four or five pieces of it, so obviously it doesn't bother me excessively, but it is pricey. Functionally: it is very lightweight, which is vitally important in these days of overweight baggage fees. It holds a huge amount, which is good, but when it is full or nearly full it doesn't always handle well. It's gorgeous, and the handling issues are minor compared to the pluses, but due to the high price and the handling issues I can only give it four stars out of five.

I had high hopes for this duffel, but the lining tore away from the interior on the very first day I used it, so I returned it. I would expect a duffel that costs more to be higher quality than that. Apart from that, the exterior held up well to one international trip and the wheels seemed to work appropriately. It is lightweight and it is a lovely color. The interior straps keep contents from shifting too much if you have the duffel less than completely stuffed. I wish it had been higher quality.
