Great bag for make-up, jewelry, etc. Even has a warranty. Was really happy my cat bought it for me for Mothers Day!

I bought this hardside to be able to check it through to my destination. My softside has been an incredible companion on frequent travel for two years; however, I have never checked this bag. I just returned from a round trip from Seattle to Albany, and I checked my new hardside. It looks like I have been using it for ten years. There are deep scratches, removing the pretty purple color and showing ugly white gouges. There were no instructions for cleaning the bag, nor could I find instructions on the internet. I used Goo-B-Gone to take off the black rubber left from the conveyer belts. Nothing I used could remove the yellow paint (where did that come from?). There is a perfect, very large, foot print on the front. Someone stood on my luggage? That being said, everything arrived in perfect condition on both sides of US. From original shipping, the bag arrived with a combination lock and a key lock. There was no key for the lock, nor directions on how to use the combination lock. The name tag (a trivial detail) was not the beautiful quality of my softside bag. I wasn't able to pack as much in the larger hardside bag as I can in the softside bag. I suggest you pass this by and go for the 22" softside Lipault which is definitely worth more than the cost.

I bought this because it was one of the lighter rolling carry-ons available, and because of its soft sides. I wanted a carry-on I could squeeze into a tight overhead space if necessary, and this fit the bill. It is light and maneuverable. The downside of the soft sides is that it doesn't hold its shape well when laid flat for packing - not a big deal to me but more like packing a duffel than a rigid case. Also, stacking a smaller back on top and then rolling them together can be a bit of a challenge as the top of the bag is soft. The exterior zip pocket is okay, but really designed for flatter items. Overall I'm very happy - love the mustard color. No mistaking which bag is mine!

I bought this carry-on luggage after reading multiple reviews. It functioned very well for my week long trip to Germany and France packing clothes for 40 degree weather. It was easy to wheel around in train stations and airports. I'm very glad for the purchase and its great price. However, I wished it had more compartments for storage. To compensate, I used multiple packing bags, managing to fit 4 pairs of pants, 5 shirts, 3 sweaters, 3 t-shirts, 2 pairs of shoes (in the front pocket), 9 sets of undergarments, and some socks (I'm a petite female and rolled the clothes instead of folding). The luggage was packed to full capacity but everything fit.

Wow, I love this bag...I have been looking for quite a while for one that could be my second carry on that would sit under the seat in front of me, hold a lot, and still let me have room to move my legs. It has the strap to slip over my other carry on and will even hold my medium size purse. Perfect!

I purchased the carry-on 4 wheel luggage after spending are a bit of time researching different styles. I travel every week and needed a lightweight piece of luggage that I could get through various airports without straining my back. The Lipault line is very light, weighs practically nothing by itself which is great for my needs. The inside of the luggage is open with plenty of space to load travel cubes, which I couldn't do with my other luggage. The only downside and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the "outside pocket" is really hard to get in and out of, so I find myself putting very little in there. It also protrudes into the internal space depending on what you put in the pocket - mostly because it is a soft sided piece. Overall, not a bad piece so far. I have been using it a month and it is holding up to the wear and strain of multiple bag handling at multiple airports.

This packing case is great I put everything I needed in it and it rolled real easy just like the video said and the handles is just right. What I did not like about the packing case is that it has a combination lock and it did not come with any directions to let me no how to set so I don't use it. The packing case did not come with any paper work.

Took just this bag and the companion case as carry-ons for London, Rome, Athens, Santorini and Mykonos, all one trip, last September! The bag is rugged, and easy to maneuver. I never had to wait for luggage or felt as though I didn't have all the clothes I wanted/needed for these diverse places! So light and wonderful -- thank goodness I did my research and then bought this bag!

Love this bag! Small but because it's soft sided a person can pack a lot! I can fit twice as much stuff in this bag as I can my my other 22" carry-on that has hard sides. Thinking about investing in another Lipault bag a size bigger.

Overall good quality bag. The outer pocket is padded and very large. Very nice for any size laptop. The large padded carry handle on the top is _very_ nice. This bag _really_ needs one or two small outer pockets to hold things you really need to get to (electronics, cords, liquids, etc). While I've not had a problem with the wheels, I'm not sure they will last for more then a few years (mine are just slightly out of round). I could be wrong. Over-all I think the bag is very nice and it's worth ever penny.

I had high hopes for this duffel, but the lining tore away from the interior on the very first day I used it, so I returned it. I would expect a duffel that costs more to be higher quality than that. Apart from that, the exterior held up well to one international trip and the wheels seemed to work appropriately. It is lightweight and it is a lovely color. The interior straps keep contents from shifting too much if you have the duffel less than completely stuffed. I wish it had been higher quality.

Great suitcase, much lighter. Don't particularly care for outer pocket the way it's designed. Difficult to get to. Overall, pleased with purchase.

This is a good but not great bag. First of all, I consider Lipault luggage to be fairly expensive for what it is. I own four or five pieces of it, so obviously it doesn't bother me excessively, but it is pricey. Functionally: it is very lightweight, which is vitally important in these days of overweight baggage fees. It holds a huge amount, which is good, but when it is full or nearly full it doesn't always handle well. It's gorgeous, and the handling issues are minor compared to the pluses, but due to the high price and the handling issues I can only give it four stars out of five.

The bag is beautiful, but the top wire along the frame was poking out in 2 places when I received it. I'm very disappointed, but will need to exchange this for another. Luckily, Zappos will be sending a replacement ASAP and I can return this one with no problem and definitely wouldn't have happened on another shopping site!

Great lightweight bag. Taking long trip where luggage max is 33 lbs. This is the lightest bag that could possibly handle the load and have almost no weight taken by the bag itself. Love it.

This carry-on and its matching computer backpack are all I needed for a month in France. It is roomy and held up well as checked luggage when I decided not to carry it on board. I bought the purple. The 4 - wheel feature is great.

This bag solves the annoying design problem of having a rigid opening flap with expandable pockets which I HATE: Use the pockets, and the bag will not fit into an overhead compartment. Instead this bag is mostly unstructured (on the top, front and sides), meaning it can be stuffed full, then conform to the space in the overhead compartment. And yes, there is a front pocket for books or passports if you need it, but it is unobtrusive. I was able to roll my backpack on top of it, though the extra weight made it slightly harder to maneuver. Without the bag on top, the bag handled like a dream. The mustard color is less richly orange, and more a cold orangey yellow (Yes, sort of mustard). This color will show dirt immediately: I am using it strictly as a carry on to minimize staining. This bag was exactly what I was looking for. A HUGE improvement over 2 wheeler rollers.

My wife had indicated for Xmas she would love to have a carry on bag made by the same French company from whom she purchased a book-it bag. The local dealer had only one color of 22" Lipault available. Zappos offered the full line, out of which I picked the blue. Within three days the bag had arrived. You can't beat the selection and the speed of delivery with Zappos!

I used this bag for the first time this weekend. It is just what I wanted: light and sturdy. Perfect for a short trip.

Lightweight and surprisingly spacious for the size! I love the thick, comfy carry handles and the telescoping handle is super smooth. Having 4 wheels makes it really easy to maneuver down tight plane aisles.
