I have the carryon bag. Absolutely not worth the price. Positive: very lightweight and holds a lot of stuff. Huge negative: the handle collapses if I put any weight on it at all, like just walking through the airport. Also, it's not easy to steer, especially if I hang another bag off it. It's very rickety and unstable. It tips over easily. I've gotten used to it but it's generally annoying. I have traveled for a living six months per year for 20 years so I have a lot of experience with luggage.

Very pretty, fairly small, ultra-lightweight bag. Exterior is just like the photo. Interior is dark brown satin. Note: the bag does not hold a great deal. There is room for coin purse/wallet, pocket calendar, cell phone--not much more. But the bag looks nice, is handy, and weighs virtually nothing. Very pleased with it.

Love this bag. I have the med size and it holds a lot. Great for the rain and the snow weather. Don't have to worry about your leather bags getting trashed.

I mostly like this roomy hobo although its looks do not quite match the price. And being used to Baggalini bags, I felt the lack of interior and exterior pockets - things just swim around and there is more digging. On the other hand, the lack of exterior pockets results in a clean look.

This is a small bag, so be prepared if you are used to heavy bulky carry on roller bags. Surprisingly though, for it's size, i was able to fit 2 packing cases, a pair of shoes, and toiletry case. Super light. Being able to fold it up for storage is a major plus.

This bag is just what I hoped for and more! It is even roomier than I had originally thought and is perfect if you have a larger laptop that other bags cannot accommodate. I have an almost 18" laptop and it will fit great in this bag and it is super durable and made very well with quality and functionality in mind.

This backpack would be awesome except the fabric that touches your back is super itchy...kind of lame to design that way.

A cross body bag is something I have been thinking about for a long time. When I finally chose the Lipault Paris Medium bag, I could not have been more pleased. So pleased, in fact, that just today I ordered the larger one, for those times that I need some additional capacity. Not only is is well made, well sized, and very functional, but it is a stylish accessory.

I want to give this bag a five review. There is plenty to appreciate here. But, I can't. It might seem like an excellent bag in part because it is one of the ONLY bags on the market that is a rolling carry-on tote with a strap that allows you to slide it over the extending handle on your rolling checked bag. Countless times I had checked my bag, and then was stuck lugging an often heavy carry-on all through the airports...those totes do have straps to attach to my rolling checked bag but no wheels. So this Lipault bag seemed like a dream-come-true. So, the "Pros": 1) very well-made with strong, durable fabric and a good sturdy frame; 2) rolls easily, with telescoping/extendable handle and in-line wheels; 3) good color choices. CONS: okaaaaay, there are what I consider design flaws or shortcomings. 1) not a single pocket on the exterior! What??? This is inconvenient. My fav tote by Samsonite got this part right...two outside zip pockets for e-z access to Boarding Pass, comfort items, and the like; 2) too compact...for me, it is about 20%-30% too small, again, comparing to my almost perfect Samsonite tote, this one seems unnecessarily tight for interior space...for me, it is a bit small for an overnight bag, or to really acconodate the weird array of things I do want at hand on long flights; 3) wheel base so narrow it makes the bag slightly unstable so the bag can get imbalanced while rolling and tend to twist or fall over ; 4) not enough inside pockets; 5) frame is strong, but stiff making it tricky and difficult to zip at ends. I am very disappointed by the design flaws. Some were mentioned by other users, too. They are obvious user-friendly design featues:exterior pockets? easy zip? stable wheel base? I would gladly pay more to get the right bag...but weirdly, there seem to be no others on the market. My awesome Sampsonite tote has no wheels but does have the strap to slide onto my checked bag; other carry-ons have wheels, but no strap to attach to checked bag. Maybe not an issue for most folks, but I wind up in busy, fast moving cities like NYC, London, and a bunch of others being dragged through streets, trains, subways, metros...and that is when these features make a huge difference. So, because this bag is basically well-made and has no real competition, I recommend it albeit with reservations. Could be so much better though!

I love my new bag! The wheels are fantastic, turn on a dime. Lightweight, but sturdy. Just make sure you don't mind a soft bag, some people may worry there clothes would get wrinkled or squished especially if you put a bag on top of this. I had wrapped my delicate clothes in tissue paper and so nothing wrinkled, but again if you want a hard bag this is not the bag for you.

First and foremost, the bag ripped 1½" open at a seam during my first trip using it. The bag is unbelievably light, but it is not built to withstand the rigors of air travel. I have owned over 10 heavy rolling suitcases made of ballistic nylon in the past decade (in every case, the wheels wore down from so much use), and they never sustained any damage, let alone a visible rip. This bag is light and supple, thus it is so easy to travel with, and I am sure the baggage handlers even love it, and love throwing it. But it is not meant to last. I immediately went to the United Airlines baggage representative to report the damage, and they said they it was not covered by them unless the rip was large enough that you could see the contents of the bag. There is really no way to repair the bag beyond using super glue and a patch to seal the hole, which looks horrible. I would not buy this brand again for anything other than a carry on that you will be handling yourself.

I purchased this bag to take on a two week trip to Europe. The bag itself is beautiful and I was amazed at how much it held. Along with a Lipault over the shoulder bag, I used ebags packing system and was able to include 12 shirts, 5 skirts, 3 dressed, 4 pairs of pants, toiletries, 3 pairs of shoes, 3 workout outfits, and delicates. The bag worked perfectly and stayed fairly clean through many airports and train stations. Once I arrived back at home I noticed some of the stitching had started to come loose. I emailed Lipault and they sent a replacement bag with no issue or hassle. I loved the bag already, but the company has my loyalty forever.

The bag is nice. The handle is a bit too small. I also purchased the matching bag that slips on top of the handle and because the duffel has no seat for it to sit on, it keeps falling. Very annoying at the airport. If purchased I would recommend as a duffel by itself and not want to put anything else on top. I purchased to go to Europe and it will not work.

This really is exactly what I was looking for to use to drag my sales kit around with me. Nice looking. Light weight. easy to roll. Good color. I appreciate the way the mouth opens wide so it's easy to find what I'm looking for. Two complaints: there is no reinforcement on the end that rests on the ground when it is standing up. It won't wear well over the long term and gets scuffed easily. the zippers get a little stuck if you open them to their limit. I would expect a french bag of this price to have been a little more thoughtful.

The color was perfect.. it just lacked pockets within the bag. It only has 1 cell phone pocket which was too small and no zipper within for small items. Too bad the lack of those caused me to return it.

I bought this bag in fuchsia, (which is no longer available here, but is deeply discounted on the Lipault site) and it is a lovely color -- deep an rich instead of bright. The bag is well made (lightly padded, nice zippers and pulls, thick nylon, well sewn and finished) looks expensive and streamlined, if not overly stylish. It is, however, small. I have no idea why they call this bag large, because it ain't. I didn't have time to find another before traveling, so I crammed it to bursting and off I went. Had my trip been more than a couple of days, I would have had to find something else -- too frustrating. I did end up using this as an everyday bag for the summer though, and it still looks and works great. I am a small wallet, comb, and a couple of lipsticks kind of gal, so it works really well. I can cram my iPad in if I don't zip. If this bag was just a couple of inches bigger, it would be perfect for travel/everyday casual use.

I needed a higher quality carry-on bag for traveling, and this one is perfect. It's nice size without being too large. The outside pockets provided easy access to the items I need to have at my finger tips.

Great piece except for the zipper closing...it's a struggle to line it up so the zipper will close...have had to spend time messing around with it every time I've had to close it up...not good design!

I really love the color and style of this bag, but it's too small for my purposes. I wanted it for my MacBook Air 11 inch, and it's about an inch too short! I really wouldn't call this bag "large". Oh well, the search continues!

I wanted a carry on bag that will piggyback on my large suitcase, but also roll once my other bags had been checked. This fit my needs perfectly. The sides stand up when open, making packing easy and then will crush when closed so that it easily fits under the seat in front. Overall, a great design.

This is a really neat bag EXCEPT the strap on the back which is intended to allow you to slip the bag over a roller bag handle is too small to fit over a standard handle. It is only about 5" long. It needs to be 12" to accommodate most roller bags. I am returning it.
