Customers flipped over the custom dress and after multiple requests for purchase, Lilly put in an order to her dressmaker and sold the dress at her stand. The colorful dress soon outsold her juice and Lilly decided to abandon the juice stand and focus on the art of fashion. Soon, Jackie Kennedy, an old friend of Lilly's from school, started wearing Lilly Pulitzer dresses. A photo of Jackie in a Lilly Pulitzer classic shift was printed in Life Magazine. A sensation was born.

Lilly Pulitzer Mckim Wedge
These shoes are so comfortable. I was looking for a bridesmaid shoe to wear in Hawaii and normally love higher heeled shoes. However, with a laid back beach wedding, I needed something pretty and comfortable. They are perfect! Thank you Zappos and Lilly! Also, I normally wear wide width shoes and these fit me just right.

Very comfortable. I bought them in gold too. Perfect if your feet are too sore to wear higher heels, and you don't want to wear flats.

Very pretty shoe on the foot. True to size. Good value, for a designer shoe. Only complaint is that feet slip a lot, between foot shoe. Needed to add no slip grippers to ball and heel of shoe. But it is worth it, because of how pretty they look on your foot.

I like the look of these shoes, but they're not easy to walk in without some sort of inserts because the foot slips.

Really comfortable. I thought they would slide off, but they stay on my feet really well. It's like a dressed up flip flop. Love these shoes, and often wear them when running errands and they're good for lots of walking. The gold ones make my feet look really narrow and pretty!
