It wass not easy to gauge the size/fit as there are no reviews or size charts. Jeans are tough to buy online - but with free shipping and returns I will do it. I wear a size 4 normally, jeans usually 28-29. I ordered a size 6 and did not indicate Jr/waist size, etc. I could not get these over my butt. I liked the design - plus the tags indicated these are 6/28". I am returning these for a couple of sizes up. We will see.

The waist does not gape which is awesome, but the size 4 was too tight for my 27" waist. Also, the pockets sit a little low on the butt which is not so flattering. The Limitless color is nice though. Unfortunately, I have to send them back.

I have difficulty finding jeans because while I have a small waist, I have very muscular thighs and glutes from years of mountain biking. Generally, I wear a 4 or 6 in most clothing. My waist is 27.5" and my hips are 34", so while I'm not especially wide-hipped, I do have a "bubble butt" and most jeans seem designed for someone wider and flatter back there. According to the calculator at the Levi's site, I should be a "Demi Curve." However, the "Bold Curve" fit much better. I also had to go up a size from what I usually wear -- I am generally a 4 or 6 but had to get an 8 in these. Aside from the inconsistent sizing, I love them. The denim is very soft and comfortable (I hate jeans that feel scratchy inside), and the style is very flattering -- even better than the 529 Curvy style which it replaced. The waistband does not gap and the rise is not too low. I've seen reviewers on other sites complaining that these are not cut for a truly "curvy" woman; I suspect they are confusing "curvy" with "plus-size," as they seemed upset by the waist being "too small." So please note, these are cut Curvy meaning a small waist/larger hips or butt. In other words, for an hourglass figure, not necessarily a larger figure -- as I have noted, they do run small so I recommend going up one size at least.

I just want to say thank you to Levi's! Finally a pair of jeans that fit every angle. I have always had a terrible time finding jeans that fit. If they fit in the legs and butt there would be a 2-3 inch gap in the waist. No more! These fit perfectly! Finally.

Sizing: With 38" hips, by Levi's own size chart, I should wear a 6 in these (which is the size I wear in most non-dress pants). But the reviews are right: these run small. The 6 would barely zip up. Most women will probably want to size up one for a snug fit; I ended up keeping the 10 s. It's nice to even have the option of going up a size for a looser fit through the thigh without ending up with six extra inches in the waist. The fit is better than any pair of jeans I've tried on in years. The back rise could be a little higher and the front rise a little lower, but they're still just really comfortable, well-fitting jeans. As far as style goes, at first I wasn't sure about the straight leg, but the only color left in bootcut has inconvenient flap pockets, and after wearing these a few times I'm so won over by the comfort I just can't make myself care that they'd look cooler on someone older than me.

About Levi's® Womens
Originally an immigrant of Bavaria, Levi traveled westward in search of greater opportunities and fortune. An eager businessman of his time, he established a wholesale dry goods business simply dubbed 'Levi Strauss & Co.' It was through this outlet that he imported dry goods, including clothing, umbrellas and fabric. Business was blossoming with the rise of the gold rush, but it was in 1873 that Levi struck gold. Levi Strauss, along with co-creator Jacob Davis patented the process of adding rivets to pants for increased strength and durability. Their creation of the classic 'blue jean' can now be found in households and catwalks worldwide.

I absolutely love these jeans, they fit perfectly. I am a little woman with a small waist and big hips so I have always had to buy my jeans to fit my butt and then take them to the tailor to have the waist tucked. I do not have to do that anymore! These jeans are awesome, and are finally made for shapely women!

I always have trouble finding a pair of jeans that fits nicely on my hip and butt area and also fits in the waist. Usually I have to buy a pair that fits in the hips and wear a belt because it's huge in the waist. Not these! Levi Bold Curve fits perfect. I did have to go up a size. The size chart said I should wear a size 6 based on my measurements but I fit perfectly in a size 8. I ordered up a size based on other reviews. I love these jeans! I am buying them in the limitless color and slim cut next. Thank you Levi for making jeans for women with curves!
