These jeans are similar to the 529, but much more flattering. The 529's reminded me of "mom" jeans. They look great and are comfortable, although I wish they were a little softer. The one review written about them almost convinced me not to order them, but I'm glad I did. Worth a try- I have a big rear and little waist.

I love these jeans! I am a really small woman...115 pounds, 5'5"...with an abnormally small waist and curvy butt and thighs. These fit me very well. Still a bit big in the waist, but everything is. They was great and I wear them all the time.

Too bad...but online jean shopping never easy. I wear a Levi 501 (mens) 33x32 and these in size 13 were too loose; but I think a size down would be too tight. I've got a huge rear, little waist and can never find anything that fits except the 501. The 528 pockets are placed too high for a big rear end and the overall cut is not flattering unless you have no hips.

If you're an athlete, these jeans rock. My tomboy legs and butt fit perfectly in these, and yet...the waist is snug too! I get to actually look like the girly girl I feel like on the inside. No big gap in the back...awesome. Love them!

Brands I'd also recommend: Lucky jeans sometimes work for me...

Love these jeans. If you have small waist and large hips or rear, and want to look young but be covered and feel good, these are great. I have a short waist too but have long legs and large thighs. These work! I haven't tried the 529's but these fit so well. I used to be a size 4 (5'5") but recently gained weight so ordered up in size. They still work! Yay! Really the only jeans I've ever put on that worked this well. The dark wash makes you look smaller. The 545's are nice too with flap pockets and a bit of a different look but they look hip too and still work on my figure.

I am pleased with these jeans. The color is great. My only complaint is that the waist seems a tad too snug. I wish it had a bit more stretch, but other than that, I'm happy with these jeans.

These are great jeans! I typically wear the 529's in 12L, but recently have not been able to find them, and since I just wore a pair out after two years of strenuous wear. A testament to Levi's longevity. I decided to try these in the 13L. They fit great! Same great fit that the 529's had through the waist and hip, and the longs hit me perfectly on the bottom (I've 5'7 with virtually no torso and extremely long legs; I have the same inseam as my 6' friend). I've always loved Levi's and was afraid I'd have to switch brands after they stopped making the 529's, but these substitute nicely!

I have been a long time wearer of Levi's 529 Curvy jeans, but decided to try these junior 528's. The first thing I liked about them was the fact that I could actually get a dark pair of jeans without looking like they've been worn out with all the fading and wiskering. I'm not a huge fan of the design on the back pocket though, but I'd rather have a nice dark wash without all of the fading. As far as the fit, they are a little different from the 529's. They fit a little tighter in the thighs, which is fine with me and the rise is less, so they don't come up as high in the back as the 529's, so for me, if I don't have a long shirt tucked in, well, let's just say that you would see more than I would like people to see.....and it also causes me to keep pulling them up a bit, so that's why 4 stars for comfort. All in all, I like these for going out because of the dark color and the tighter fit. They do still accentuate my rear and are slimming, so that too is a good thing!

The fit is true to size. They are really comfortable, the length is perfect for 2-3" heels for a 5'3" tall woman. The color is really perfect; just the right amount of fading on the of the legs. Love these!

I'm 5 ft 6, athletic build. Purchased in size 11 long. I normally wear size 10 in other jeans. These were way too tight...518's fit better but lately end up losing all shape after an hour. Levis Jeans, I'm not happy!
