A Classic Clean - 5"6', 130lb, 28 waist, slender. I normally wear low-rise bootcut jeans w/ a belt 'cuz that's what guys wear up here. They fit great and feel great, but since I'm a slender guy and like to wear athletic fit t-shirts, they look a little baggy. After getting a couple of suggestions to switch over to slim fit jeans (I've tried slim bootcuts before, which look ridiculous), I caved and picked up a 30x30 Levi 514. I normally wear 29x30 to 30x30 depending on the brand/look/activity. 30x30 fits very well - I would not go for a 29x30. The thigh is actually roomier than my slim bootcut that I don't wear and the leg falls straight as it should. The wash is fine - I'm not picky about such things since jeans are jeans. My only complaint is that the crotch is a little tight. This is probably a personal issue since I have it with almost all brands of regular cut jeans (which is why I went low bootcut in the first place). Once I get my budget worked out, plan to be purchasing another pair or two of 514s.

Oh man, the sicky sicky sickest fit for Levi's. A little bit snug around the butt and thighs, but in a good way! The gray color is ballin' as well. If you've been a 501 man for most of your life as I was and are looking to switch it up a little bit, grab a pair of these. They might not be your everyday jeans, but you will love them!

About Levi's® Guys
Originally an immigrant of Bavaria, Levi traveled westward in search of greater opportunities and fortune. An eager businessman of his time, he established a wholesale dry goods business simply dubbed 'Levi Strauss & Co.' It was through this outlet that he imported dry goods, including clothing, umbrellas and fabric. Business was blossoming with the rise of the gold rush, but it was in 1873 that Levi struck gold. Levi Strauss, along with co-creator Jacob Davis patented the process of adding rivets to pants for increased strength and durability. Their creation of the classic 'blue jean' can now be found in households and catwalks worldwide.
LS&Co exists today as one of the world's largest brand-name apparel marketers with sales in over 110 countries. The Levi's brand continues its legacy by consistently providing quality jeans and products, and by earning the trust of consumers, investors, employees and society as a whole through their responsible business practices. This principle of responsible commercial success is embedded in the company's 156-year history and continues to anchor the way LS&Co operates today.

Very favorable. Like the color, dark rigid denim, no fake aging or wrinkles. Seems to fit okay, as good or better than similar 501s, though 501 has improved some lately. Has double stitching in inseam, which has mostly disappeared from Levis. Ordered a few pairs, found variation depending where they were manufactured it appears. Too bad Levis is not made in US now. Wish Zappos carried the 514 cords. Go Zappos!

I just bought these. They are a great fit, but the sun fade color came with a lot of holes in the left side. Super stone washed? Returning and ordering two more pairs in hopes that they will not be torn. Nothing in the description said these were pre-torn jeans.

Between the cut and the availability of a 35" waist, this is the first pair of jeans I've ever owned that actually fit. It was unnecessarily hard to decipher the odd names that Levis uses for its colors, but with a little help from Zappos' great customer service, I finally found the solid, dark blue I was after. The best recommendation I can give is that once I had a pair and wore it, I liked it so much I bought another.

These jeans are terrible! I bought 4 pair about 4 months ago, washing them after 3 wears on average. About a month in, one pair developed a hole around the back pocket (on the inside corner, where jeans always wear thin). I thought I'd just snagged the pocket while working on the house, but now I'm sure it's because of the poor quality of the product. Now, a few months later, only 1 of my 4 pairs is still sans holes. One has a nice big hole in the crotch with more on the way on the thighs, while another pair has two decent size gaps around the corners of the back pockets (both of 'em!), just like with the first pair to fail.

Comfort and style combines to provide a good looking pair of jeans. True to size. Modern lines and dark color will easily take you from stadium to concert hall. Getting another pair!

Great fit! Great price. Exactly what I was looking for. Still a little scratchy taking off and on, but I\'m sure they will soften the more I wash them.

These jeans are great. From my 40+ husband to my 16 year old son, all 4 guys can wear these. Not too tight, not too high, nothing fancy but a great everyday jean if you don't want to wear out the Sevens too fast. A little loose in the leg for the super-trendy guy who likes a skinny leg. These are slim, not skinny. They stretch out, so go down in the waist if you are unsure (my son is 31 or 32 depending on the brand, so 31). One HUGE warning: my husband is a 34/36 inseam in these, and I just got him a second pair which came marked 36, but they are past 38". I measured them against my son's 35/38 pair, and they matched. Not cool! Never had this problem before, and I have purchase 10+ pairs...

I am 52 years old with a trim, fit and athletic build. I love these 514\'s with their lower cut waist, trim thighs and hips. In other words, if you have had too many fries in your time, push away from the buffet, work out and buy these when you are truly fit.

The cut and fit is ideal for my build. I am extremely picky about this. Unfortunately, the quality of Levi's denim has gone to the dogs! I've owned about 6 pairs, and none of them have even lasted a year. You have to baby them, like a nice pair of slacks. Considering that I had a couple of pairs of 501's that lasted about 8 years, I am really disappointed in the 514's.

These jeans are great - really good fit - not too skinny but still has a nice slim fit. At 5'9" they are a bit long (34x30) so I may have them hemmed an inch or 2 on the bottom so they don't crumple as much at the bottom. They should have more sizes in terms of leg length.
