Color: Clean Dark. Great pair of pants. Very comfortable, and they fit perfectly. Not a skin tight pair of jeans (which is what I prefer), but still retains the feel of skinny jeans. It was hard to find a pair of black skinny jeans on Zappos that didn't use white string cotton for the outline of the back pockets. White string on back pocket and black jeans just looks too weird. These pair of jeans were as close as it gets to a dark back pocket outline, but it didn't bother me much. If you're looking for black skinny jeans, you can't go wrong with this one. The price and style makes your decision a no brainer.

Great every day Jeans. I got mine in Hiro which has more fade than the picture reveals, but still very fashionable. I do find that they really lose their fit after a few wears and need to be washed to retain it. Bought 2 pairs of the 511 and a Super Skinny.

I love Levi's 511 jeans! They fit perfectly, snug in the legs (but not ultra-tight like the 510) and hugs your back and front. The waist fits about 1.5-inches below the belly button on me and I'm 5'9" and a guy, which is just right and not too low that your crack starts showing. I bought the Dark Plum colored 511s and they're a deep, dark purple so now I have some colors other than blue. Even though I normally wear a 34 in the waist, for the 511 I go up to the next size 36 so that they don't feel too snug on me. These are the best cut Levi's around!

These jeans are not too skinny or too baggy. There is no flair at the ankles of these jeans like others I have purchased.

I am a girl who has problems with the fit of most women's pants. I wanted some skinnier pants that were not completely tapered to the ankle and yet wide and low at the hip and waist. I wanted a reliable fit live Levi's 501, but without the bulkier fabric in the hip and leg. Since trying them over a year ago, I have purchased this style pants in 5 colors and 2 sizes. They are all my favorite jeans. I wear the larger ones when I want a more relaxed, "boyfriend" look and the smaller ones when I want pants that are tighter, but not restricting. They are all quite flattering. All of the washes I've tried (Sky, Faded black, Chain link, Cacao, Clean Wash) have held up well. I never put the spandex blends in the dryer because I hate how it kills the stretch in other clothes I've had. I am considering these pants in 2 other washes.

The chain link fits looser than black. I am 5'6" and 135 pounds with well built legs and butt from cycling 140 miles per week. The size 29/30 fit perfectly without a belt. The size 30/30 fit looser. Overall, it's not just in waist and I needed a belt. The stretch fabric is ideal for action, dancing, biking, etc. These are a great fit.

Well worth what little you would pay for a joy like these jeans. I have mine on now and they really fit and feel good, and the stretch material really makes them a form fit. I would like more in different colors.

I bought this jean in size 34x32 and when I tried them on I noticed that they are actually longer than your average 32 length jeans. I compared them to my current Levi's 506 jeans which are also 34x32 and the 511's seem to be almost an inch longer. So heads up before you buy these. They also come with that crinkled section in back of the knee which I personally dislike. However, that is my fault for not noticing it when I purchased the jeans.

I absolutely love these jeans! They are a staple of my wardrobe; I currently have 3 pair. My most recent pair is the Cacao color, twill fabric, size 32x36. They fit me almost perfectly; I'm 6'4" and really thin, so finding the right pair of jeans is difficult, especially under $100. I have a little extra room in the waist, so I usually wear a belt to be on the safe side. The fit through the leg is great; they flatter my body without being tight, constricting, or uncomfortable. I could wear these pants all day! My favorite part about the twill fabric is that it stretches yet still maintains a crisp, flat, tightly woven appearance. Run your hand over the fabric, and it feels smooth and durable. Here in Seattle, I consider the twill 511s in a conservative color to be work-appropriate when worn with an oxford shirt and the right shoes; dress them down for an easy weekend look! Unlike the stiffer non-stretch denim versions, the twill doesn't create a "bunched" appearance around my kneecaps, but stays smooth and shapely from waist to ankle. The fast shipping still amazes me. I ordered the jeans at 2:00 on a Thursday, and they were waiting for me when I came home on Friday afternoon! Can't beat that.

I love these jeans and would definitely recommend them! One thing that wasn't apparent to me before purchasing these jeans is that they are 2% Spandex, so they have a little stretchiness to them. This wasn’t a problem for me, but it might be for some people. This was my first purchase from Zappos and I couldn't be happier with the service that I received!

Great pair of jeans, wish they were still made in the US, or at least a country that has regards for its workers and the environment. They fit well right out of the box and are wearing well also. They look best with a pair of boots.

Yeah these jeans are def comfy. I’m 5’11 so usually I get jeans 32 34, but with the Levis 511 32 32 fits perfectly. The only prob I had with these jeans are they run just a little shorter than the other ones. Not a flooding short, but they’re not as long as my other 511s, but overall great jean - washes great.

I am a twenty-something male, tall and slim. I own more than 10 pairs of this cut, and of those half of them are duplicates of my favorite pair. They're great. the denim is soft and will loosen up after you wear them for a while. they will mold to your body shape, and they will become your favorite pants. I personally favor the sidewalk, chain link, and new red. I get compliments all the time on the red ones.<3 these jeans.

I ordered these jeans for my husband. Very hard to find 'skinny leg jeans' in a size 40 waist in the stores. It seems the jeans are cut slightly different depending on the colors they came in (some legs were more tapered than the others) but all in all we were satisfied.

If you are a thicker person (thighs and gluts) that is trendy and likes to wear skinny jeans, these are not the most comfortable, they were longer than a 32, and they are kind of stiff even with the 1% spandex, the bottoms are also not tapered very well like most skinny jeans.

These jeans are great. I'm 6'7 and 175 pounds so finding a pair of pants that fit is a pain. Even after I washed them they still fit perfectly. Didn't even shrink that much. Definitely better than my other 511 jeans.
