I\\\'m somewhat atypical as I use these for playing the organ. These slippers work well for me and are very comfortable. My only complaint is that they bunch up along my arch which gets in my way sometimes. I suppose that may be a function of the pre-sewn elastics which I may try to move. In any case, I\\\'m pretty happy with them.

Great service, very fast. I purchased them to use during my yoga routine and they work pretty good except there is not much room in the toe area for good balance. I am thinking that I should have ordered a half size larger that I wear. The shoe is made well and again, the service was great! Thanks!

The fastest shipping I ever saw! And very easy to return the shoes that I ordered in the wrong sizes. The shoes are exactly what I wanted. I bought them to dance in at my wedding reception...but then I will probably live in them! I wear steel toed shoes at work and I love to slip into a comfortable foot cover that I can even wear outside. These shoes are perfect for that!

I really like these slippers -
They are comfortable and are easy to slip on or off. They take a little getting used to but all and all I’d say I love them. They look good with anything. I think I made a great buy!

Definitely order 2 sizes down with these. The wide ones are VERY WIDE! I usually take a wide shoe, and these gap like nobody's business. The lining is a little baggy, which is very annoying. If I didn't need them for a class today I'd definitely return them for 1/2 size smaller (making them 2.5 total sizes smaller) and the M width. But alas, I need them for today. The high vamp on these makes the feet look very ungainly.

I don't understand their sizing at all. Why not just make them true size and get it over with? I took other reviewers advice and bought a 5 where I'd normally get a 7 and they were still loose. Considering they are real leather and meant to dance in they could only get looser. Since these are just for a wedding, I will keep them but overall they're not the greatest. I'll be buying Capezio exclusively in the future.

Great for lounging around the house. If you wear them outside they don't give much protection against sharp rocks.

Ballet Slipper -
Excellent description of the product, especially the notation that it should not be ordered to true shoe size but 2 sizes smaller. The ballet slipper fit perfectly using this guideline and is being work daily at high school musical rehearsals and performances. Will be a return buyer.

Good for the Money -
Allowed me to turn quickly on pavement for a live outdoor performance, which is all I needed. Don't expect a perfect fit, but an affordable serviceable dance shoe.

A so-so shoe.
Although well made, of fine leather, I was disappointed in the style and the fit. My street shoes are a size 8 medium width and I usually buy a size 6 medium ballet slipper. These run a bit larger, so a 5 1/2 medium or maybe a 6 narrow would have been better. Also, the elastics are sewn in too far back, making them fit too snug across the instep. As far as style, I found the higher vamp to be less attractive than those cut lower; they make my feet look bigger than normal...

Great Shoe for the Price!
This shoe is wonderful! It is very comfortable and fits great. I have a wide foot, and the wide size roomy enough. The suggestion to order 2 sizes smaller is good advice. They fit like a glove!

Wonderful customer service -
I was sent a child's size 11 instead of an adult 11; I know this for a fact, because the shoes fit perfectly my 5 1/2 year old niece. Customer service was helpful about trying to come up with solutions when I called them about this, though, but in the end, I gave the shoes to my niece instead of returning them, and actually found a Capezio pair through zappos.com --which I ordered early on a Wednesday morning and received the next evening!!-- which fits me beautifully. My niece and I are BOTH very happy with our shoes; hers match her fairy outfit, and mine are great for bellydance practice (the reason I was shopping for ballet shoes in the first place).

I didn't read the reviews before I ordered my first pair, and they were way too big! So, I definitely think ladies should order 2 sizes smaller than their "street" size. Good luck!
