Stable, true to size practice shoes. This is my second pair, I also own these shoes in tan. Not terribly elegant, but still good-looking shoes. Also, a big plus for me - they have leather soles, not suede. I highly recommend them for dancing.

I wanted a "flapper style" pair of shoes and these fit the bill. I had sturdy rubber soles applied to the bottoms and they feel very comfortable for casual and formal wear.

Great fit! Love these! I bought them as "practice" flamenco shoes since I didn't want to scratch up my hardwood floors with traditional flamenco shoes with nails. These are far more comfortable than any pair of real flamenco shoes I've tried, and it seems like they'd be good for a beginner in salsa, etc. I really like these!

This shoe is extremely comfortable. Whether it's mind over matter, I love that it also has the T-Strap for a bit more stability. I also loved that I could order all my choices and return what did not work for me, without any additional charge. Just like having the option of going to a store and seeing my choices, only in the comfort of my own home. P.S. I actually purchased two pair.

I got a pair of these as a hopeful last ditch attempt at finding a pair of dance heels in my size (I'm normally a 13). These turned out to be wonderful, well balanced, and easy to move in. They aren't the prettiest, but through years of dancing they have served me well. I just looked at my old pair and realized the uppers were cracking, so I ordered myself a new pair - the highest compliment I could give to a pair of shoes. They are in desperate need of some padding in the ball of the foot, but otherwise really wonderful over long-term dance use.

Purchased this as a practice shoe for Argentine Tango and standard ballroom dancing. Very comfortable because of the padding/cushioning, even the first time wearing them! My feet didn't hurt at all even after dancing for several hours. I am usually a 7.5 to 8, ordered an 8 which fits perfectly. The leather soles are great for turning steps, and I find the soles easier to keep clean and maintain than sueded ballroom shoes. Would definitely recommend and order again! Of course, Zappos' fabulous customer service and super-speedy shipping makes shopping for dance shoes at Zappos a real pleasure.

This is a great dance shoe for the money. I bought one pair in each color. They are comfortable right out of the box. They run true to size. Zappos is the best online store, I ordered these shoes at 10:00 PM on Tuesday and they were at my door Wednesday afternoon. Amazing!

I wear either an 8 or 8.5 depending on shoe and brand. Took an 8 in these. They are very comfortable for dancing. The sole gives you just the right amount of slickness to spin. I did add a rubber heel cap for stability. Great shoe, cute too.

I got these for my daughter's college dance class, and she said they were brilliant right out of the box. I know they get pounded! She has sensitive skin and gets blisters easily, but she said these were comfortable right from the first try.

I have found them to be sturdy and durable, even for brief runs across the office. Softer sole, I\'ve already had to re-sole them. But I tend to wear them inside and outside 10 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Very comfortable shoes. I needed a pair of shoes to wear with a costume for a two day event. I put them on out of the box and stood on concrete in them for 6 hours straight the first day and 4 hours the next. No blisters, no pain. They are not the cutest shoes, but they're functional. They don't do so well in wet conditions however as the heels literally disintegrated and have to be replaced. Given the type of shoe, they are probably better suited for the majority use indoors on a dance floor.
