I went a size larger than street because I felt my toe was too close in the 1/2 size larger which was recommended.

Look Good, Feel Fine, Don't Last. You will be
lucky to get 4 months of wear out of these before 1, your toe breaks through or 2. The mesh shreds. These are specified by the instructor and I've had to buy 6 pairs in 30 months.

I purchased this shoe to wear for indoor color guard performances. After only a few wearings the shoe completely fell apart--holes in the leather, seams splitting, etc. I had to hold the shoes together with electrical tape. It was not that they were too tight--I felt the sizing was pretty accurate. You get what you pay for, I
guess, so do not buy it if you plan on abusing it.

Dancers have small feet?
I wear a size 13 sometimes 14 shoe. When I was looking around for jazz shoes, I noticed that no one carried either one of those sizes. Yea they had a size 14, but it was really a twelve. So I ordered that, and when I got it, it was tight, but not unbearable. The shoe itself is an awesome shoe. And I'm sure that if my foot were smaller, it would be much more comfortable. So the conclusion is that this shoe is a very good shoe, but beware big feet, it's not as good to you.

Great Jazz shoe but need bigger size -
The shoe did not fit me even though it is a size 14. I
guess I need to order a size 16, but sad to say no one has large sizes for us actors with big feet. If you do have larger sizes please advise me. I gave the shoes to a fellow actor for a birthday present instead of sending back.

very good tango practice shoes -
I've found these sizing tips to be invaluable. Advice is crucial on this shoe so here's mine: The correct fit for this shoe is especially difficult to
guess at first, but with trial and error I found that my 8 1/2 wide foot takes a 10 medium and the fit is perfect. This model is absolutely the most successful tango practice shoe I own. I've bought many kinds before finding this one and will only get these now. I always use them for class work and sometimes I choose to wear them with long
pants at a Milonga (a tango social
dance) instead of
heels. They do wear out with a lot of use, especially with a lot of pivoting on less than perfect floors. Sometimes the edge of a floorboards will catch the edge of the
sole under the ball of the foot, and if not repaired it will peel away or wear through. So I'm just more careful now with maintenance on them and I keep multiple pairs. The neoprene center support is strong, hugs your arch and helps to take tension off of the foot. It's a really remarkable shoe.

Very pleased -
The shoe was originally out of stock. I signed up for their e-mail notification. After receiving the notice it was in stock, I placed the order and received it within three days. I am very pleased with this company. Use their advice on whether to order a size larger or not. It was perfect

Keep the price at $24.95 -
I purchased this shoe for my daughter. The same exact shoes cost $40.00 at her
dance studio. Zappos did not have her size, but I put a request in to be notified when her size arrives. When I was notified, however, the price was higher than $24.95. I called and customer service agreed to lower the price to the original $24.95! If Zappos keeps the price at $24.95, I cannot imagine ever having to buy these at the studio again. The quality is the same and the free shipping made this purchase a no-brainer!

Slip-on Jazz Boot -
I have a wide foot and regardless of the "wide" label, this shoe is tight and does not last very long. The leather on the
sole has begun to separate in only a couple of months. And they're tight in length. I replaced these with the
Bloch boot and will only wear these for the recital bc I have to.

Great shoe, great service -
This was one of the easiest transactions ever. The shoes fit great and these sale prices were incredible. I got these for my daughter who is a competition dancer along with the black Giordano taps and also the spectator taps, my entire bill for 4 pair of
dance shoes wasnt much more than what one pair of taps would have cost in the
dance shops in town. I am so happy to have found your web site and will purchase other shoes now as well, as I have seen the pricing. Be sure if you order to be sized with the special sizer, as these run very different than the street shoe size. My little one wears a 1 1/2 street shoe in
girls and took a 4 1/2 in the jazz boot and a 3 1/2 in the taps, so try to figure accordingly. I know of an entire studio with over 300 competition dancers that will love the idea of this web site. Thanks very much!!!!
