I found nothing wrong with this shoe. It fits great - I wear a women's 9 street shoe and ordered an 8 - no problem! I teach preschool gymnastics and wear this for class. It's attractive, looks professional, and feels great.

My 6th grade child needed these for her school musical and they were perfect! Good value for the product, good fit, and they didn't fall apart under tough "use."

I wear these for bellydancing class. They work great on the wood floor of the dance studio - the suede bottom spins nicely without being slippery. Extremely comfortable, too. And, they look pretty cute, similar to ballet slippers.

Comfortable - Felt true to recommended size (one size less than street shoe). The toe part gets pulled upward by the elastic, but this relaxed after a few wearings. Very comfortable. I wear these to a dancercize class I'm taking and they are more flexible than ballet slippers.

gymnastics sockette - These sockette's work great for my daughter's gymnastics tumbling & trampoline. She wears a 3 1/2 shoes size so I ordered a size 4 sockette, but they were tight and her toe right at the very end, so we ordered a size 5 with a pinch of room to grow. She likes them very much and I love the price, the free shipping, and guarantee return. I have showen several other gymnastics moms this sockette and they were going to check it out on Zappos.

Leo's criss cross - Typical Leo's quality and comfort...personally, I would buy your normal shoe size rather than one size smaller because they don't run one full size smaller and you don't want them to be too small.

The Leo's site lists these as gymnastics shoes, I just wanted minimalist footwear. If you want to keep your feet clean without padding, on dry surfaces, these could be for you. The toe area is reasonably roomy, but as an earlier reviewer noted, the elastic pulls the seam up and over your toes. The suede sole is a single layer. I wear a 9½, ordered the 9, and it certainly is not too big. The fit and feel is like the ghost of an Isotoner ballerina slipper.

Worn instead of slippers, these "sockettes" protect socks, but feel like I am walking around the house in socks! In addition, the leather soles grip the floor rather than sliding like socks do. A similar product that I purchased decades ago used thicker materials, but for the price, I can replace these occasionally if they wear out.

I wanted to love these, I really did. It's a light, indoor shoe, perfect for a little exercise or just hanging about. The style is cute, and the criss cross straps make for an adjustable fit. I so wanted to love these. However, I'm normally a 9W, and neither the 7 or 8 fit correctly. You'd think the Medium width was to blame, but the width felt fine. The issue was the pulling of the undersole over the tips of the toes by the elastic on top. Walking back and forth the sole would come forward to the point where it would rub against the toenails. It's possible a size 6 would work out better, but since the manufacture's directions say to go down just one size, I'm throwing in the towel on this sockette.
