I have owned my pair for seven years and wear them everyday during fall and winter to do barn chores,ride my horses, and hunt. They are still 100 percent waterproof. If you want good looking, but utilitarian boots that will last for years (and not fad fashion boots) these are the boots. The only one better is the LeChassuer, also by LeChameau.

I love these boots! I normally wear a size 8 1/2 but was advised by Zappos personnel to get a 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfectly with a pair of cotton socks. The foot bed is supportive and comfortable for early morning dog walks in the wet grass. The rubber is soft on my ankles and shins and the boot is easy on and off with the strap at the top.

The style is very similar to the Hunter boot. What I liked about this boot was the adjustable strap at the top. However, the rubber is very squishy, so they easily wrinkle, and slouch--not a look I want when I not wearing them in a garden. I returned them and will prob. buy the Hunters.

The best boot out there. They are like wearing pillows on my feet. Stylish, comfortable, durable are all 100%+ - just don't let the word get out. Let the rest of them think Hunters are the be-all, end-all. Le Chameau's are for those with distinctive style who also need them to perform.

Very well made, I wear 7 1/2 and I ordered 7 1/2 from another vendor. I can get my orthotics in them and can't wait to wear them in the rain or snow with thick socks. I need a pad for support. This is hollow rubber, but good solid quality for sure. I have an unusually high arch. Thin and flexible unlike Sperry's.

Following what others said, I ordered a half size down for me. I wear a 7.5 so ordered a 7 but these are still too big for me. I fear if I order a 6 they will be too small as the ankle openning is very slim and I had a hard time just removing the 7. I probably could not remove the 6 at all. Too bad they don't come in half sizes.

Love this boot. I orginally wanted a Hunter boot but had read numerous reviews of the quality of Hunter boots being poor. I just received the Vierzon Lady in Black and I could not be happier. They are an authentic rubber boot that looks cute enough to wear to work or trudging down a dirt road in April in Vermont. I was impressed by the quality and love the softly lined interior. As far as sizing I am typically a 6 and 1/2, but ordered a 7 in these. I wish they were a bit more snug, but a basic insole will do the trick. I love these boots and for those looking for something authentic, functional and well made will not be disappointed. The shipping was also lightening fast!

These boots are really high quality, I can tell they will stand up to rain for a long time. The upper part is wider than other rain boots that I've owned, though the ankle seems snug but only when I'm pulling them off.

Love the slim shaft! Much sleeker than other brands and still has room to tuck in jeans. Traction is outstanding on slick surfaces. Always get compliments on style!

These are great boots. Than are very comfortable and extremely well made. They are better than Hunter. Be aware that they run a full size too large, though, so order down!

These fit just fine in a size 10 (my normal), but they are a little snug over my instep which is high. I will keep them.

I'm so pleased to have gotten these at the sale price. I used to wear Hunters, but found the soles too flimsy to walk the city pavements for long without discomfort. Also, Hunters are so ubiquitous here now that I wanted to try something different. These boots are very comfortable, with a solid supportive footbed, and a thick, durable yet flexible rubber shaft that gives when I walk. I have large-ish calves (15 inches) and these fit fine, albeit without lots of extra room. They look sleek and actually seem to make my legs look more slim! They are not super stylish a la Chanel or Burberry but do have a certain je ne sais quoi (and who really needs designer rain boots anyway). I wear US 8.5 and the size 40 is perfect. Am quite happy with my purchase!

These are the softest of the 3 pairs I ordered (Iris, Country Lady and Vierzon). I like the adjustable strap and like that I could cinch the strap down. I have large calves and wide feet and these fit so easily and comfortably. I would say that this style looks the most utilitarian of the three I ordered. If I could, I would have kept all three pairs!

These are great boots. I have some Hunter boots which I like as well, I think these are just a little more stylish. Functional, comfortable. A little hard to get on and off but not a big deal.
