I ordered these shoes for a wedding. I don't normally wear heels, so I was a little worried. These shoes have a wide enough heel that they are stable. Having a strap that doesn't make a full loop around the ankle, but is on the top of the foot also gave stability and helps keeping the leg from appearing chopped at the ankle strap.
