The shoe felt great. The only thing that bothered me was that the sole stuck out far more than I thought it would. You can't see it in the picture, but the sole does extend about about a 1/4 of an inch.

I've gotten two pairs of these shoes from Zappos, because the first pair completely disintegrated at the seam after a couple months of moderate wear. I assumed it was a defective pair and ordered a new set, and wore them much less often. Unfortunately, I looked down today and they had completely come apart again, in the same exact way as the first pair. The shoes were great while they were working, but don't assume they'll last more than a couple dozen light wearings.

The shoes look great and quirky (with their odd outer edge), but I immediately noticed that they are loud. From concrete to marble to wood to tile, you will be heard in these shoes. More grievously, after owning these shoes for about 3 months, the soles of both shoes developed a full width-wise crack near the ball of the foot resulting in wet feet, rendering them completely worthless for Wisconsin winters. Not cool.
