Soft leather, great style, could be worn easily with skirts or dresses or leggings or pants. But 8.5 was a bit too short for me, yet 9 was way too big. The most unpleasant, however, was the subtle pain starting to develop in my bunions the more I was walking in either size. I think it's because of the increased flexibility of the sole. First signs of ache appeared within 5 circles around my room.

Love these boots. They look amazing...and they're so comfortable! They fit beautifully & have excellent arch support. I tried them on when they arrived and kept them on for hours just walking around my house. They're honestly more comfortable than barefoot! That's no small thing for any pair of shoes...but 3" heels?! I have to agree with the person who said "shoe heaven"! These boots give you height, but are as comfortable as my most comfortable low shoes & clogs! Plus they have an effortless look; it's not like you're teetering on heels. They look and feel stable...and very hip and very chic and did I mention that I love them?! The leather is really supple, something you appreciate right away, especially around the top of the boot, where it meets your leg. I am on my feet long hours at work. I usually wear clogs but thought I'd try something different. I am so glad I did! I got these boots in coffee, a really nice shade of brown. It looks just like it does on my monitor and in the Zappos video. But, I'd call the color "acorn" or "maple", or something besides "coffee". I'll definitely be back for the black ones and then maybe go for the Lassen Kansas? And then... Well, if you are thinking of buying these, go for it. You'll love them. Zappos was awesome as usual...for Zappos that is!

I am very picky about comfort. This boot is so perfect that I do not even have to break them in! Classy vintage style! And very soft and comfortable for walking. Seems to be warm, perfect for dressing up in winter! Zappos makes it so easy to shop at home.

I received these overnight, Zappos really is great! These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I honestly wouldn't say that for my taste they are the prettiest boots, but I know I'll be wearing them all the time because they are nice looking and feel like slippers with a great arch.

I love these boots. They are comfortable, stylish, true to size and gave me another chance to work with Zappos, which is the absolute best company I know of. I just received my boots, and I'm thrilled with the comfort and style. My feet are wide, and I wear a size 7! I ordered a 7 and they are just fine with room to spare which is not usually the case with my wide foot! The only thing I'm a little disappointed about is the three buttons are not gold on the Coffee boots like shown in picture. They are more Pewter like the Tobacco color shows. Can't wait to wear these in NYC and Washington state. I plan on buying the Black ones too! Love Zappos, I get most of my shoes from them!

These boots are super cute and comfortable, at first! If you walk a lot, though, you may change your mind. I don't have a car and do most of my traveling via foot, and these boots aren't made for (lots of) walkin'. The heel wore down a crazy amount after less than a year, to the point where I had to have them re-soled, and although the boot is cushy, the insole broke down pretty quickly and now walking in them for more than an hour is painful. I have crazy big arches and tried getting arch support insoles for these. However, even with these and the re-sole, they are still not that comfortable for walking more than a mile. I really want to love these, because I think they're so cute, but for the money, I think they should be a little better made. They are good for wide feet, however!

Looked so cute online, but the leather quality isn't great. They had an odd, chemical smell (maybe from the sole/base material?), and there was a little color worn off on the front sole. They just didn't seem high quality for this price. Fit was a problem for me just because I need a little wider toe box, but they could be comfortable if you don't have that problem. Seemed like cheap shoes, though.

Unfortunately, I had to send my boots back. Too bad, I really like the style of them, but when I received my size 10 boots each boot looked like it was made from different leather. It was very obvious, and in addition, one of the boots looked slightly larger around the ankle than the other. I also expected a heavier leather. The buttons look brass in the picture, but they are actually dark colored.

These boots are awesome! I ordered the Tobacco color and they are beautiful. I wanted them in black but at the time they weren't available but they have them in black now so I just ordered those too! These are very soft leather and the lower heel height makes them comfortable to wear all day. They look great with jeans. I have received many compliments on these boots.

I love these boots! I get so many compliments on them. They are really comfortable and toasty in cold weather. They can be worn with leggings, jeans or skirts and really add to the outfit. They ran slightly wide and big for my foot size but that doesn't bother me at all.
