I was sent the wrong size in the right box (in other words, the box said 7.5 but the shoes were 7) so I'm returning it. I think the reviews of other Lassen shoes are that the shoes seem cheap compared to the price. I can attest to that statement. The leather is thin and the sole is like plastic. I bought the shoe because I'm in a walking cast and this has the right height and seemed relatively stable to wear with the cast. Unfortunately the shoe is of such poor quality I would return them even if they were the right size. Zappos is great and these shoes aren't.

As stated in the previous review, I also received what appeared to be the wrong size in the right box (shoe states 6 on bottom, box states 6½ as ordered). I am starting to wonder if there are not any true half sizes in this particular brand? I am always a 6-6½. The 6½ was too snug and would have killed my toes, so I ordered a 7 and they were so sloppy large that I could not walk in them. Which is too bad because they are such super cute shoes and seem to have a decently comfortable footbed. So, the search continues for the perfect loafers.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks, Born, Sperry
