Overall:

Wish they made it in a wide. Great shoe. First time I wore it was for 9 hours straight slogging around a wetland. I normally take a EE or wider but these don't run in widths. That aside I found them comfortable and didn't overheat (I had tried the insulated version prior to these and got overly hot within the first 5-10 minutes of wearing them). ~K

Great! Exactly what my husband needed, he got a size 10. He says the rubber part rubs his skin, but he just wears his pants on outside. I believe this is normal with all boots. Anyway, he is a vet tech and has to clean a lot of kennels outside where it gets pretty gross. Esp. when hurricanes come in and the water is higher, this works out well. We shop at Zappos a lot.

Excellent boots - I am extremely happy with the performance of these boots right out of the box. I usually like a little wider boot for ease of break in unfortunately these didn't come in a wide size, I took the chance and bought regular width and was delighted when I put them on and they felt great. I am a repeat customer of Zappos and they never cease to amaze me with the speed they get your footwear to you. Free shipping and I got them extremely fast...Way to go Zappos; you've got a customer for life.

They are excellent - I ordered these boots for my husband - he loved them - true to fit, size and width - and they looked exactly as the picture - the price is so reasonable. He uses them when he is moving the lawn, doing yard work ect... they are perfect for those extremely rainy, muddy days.

Holds its own...Not a bad boot. Had mine for about two years and wear them for work on and off. Things worth mentioning are they are comfortable. It took a short period to break them in but that went smoothly. Also, I think the soles for these boots are better them some other manufacturers. Wolverine has many of their styles with a soft cushy sole while this is more a harder rubber. That’s one reason I took these boots - they seem to last longer. I found the review above very different from my experience and thought I should mention it. I am trying to buy another pair and came here to check if there are new styles.

LaCross wellies - I was so happy to find this boot at Zappos. My husband likes and finds lacrosse fits him very well. He had a pair of these boots that just needed to be replaced and these were the same ones- good fit and quality. Will always go to Zappos first!

No soles - Pair I bought and they were very uncomfortable for the first week. Four months later, both soles have almost come off and are unwearable, much less waterproof.

So far, So good!First, I must comment on Zappos service...FANTASTIC!!! Boots are great. Fit very well and am very satisfied thus far! The color is slightly lighter than pictured. (4 stars) They have the slight feeling of insulation, just a tad on the warm side. (4 stars) Hope that wears off as they break in.

Can’t beat this boot - This has got to be the best Wellington boot I have ever worn. I purchased this boot for work, but I find myself wearing them all the time. Break in time is about normal, although with the boot having thin thinsulate they can get a bit warm during the break in period.

What not to buy - I bought these in default. I had gotten a pair of Timberlands. The Timberlands that I had purchased in the past gave me good service. Now, however, they seem to be at the mercy of the junk that is being produced in China. The pair that I was sent fell apart in two days. Zappos was kind enough to let me return them and purchase these LaCrosse boots. They seem sturdy and are relatively comfortable. I expect good service from them.

Most comfortable?Comfortable? Yes, it is pretty good. Water-proof? Yes, excellent. I wear them at work in a restaurant and am in a constant search for slip-resistant boots. I like boots for their support and safety features. These are slip-resistant only on certain surfaces. I wish someone will combine certain Skechers' sole and these boots' uppers. Oh, well. Someone let me know if such are available.

Unexpected pleasure - I order these boots as a second choice for the ones I thought I wanted, but it turned out that I was glad that I did they fit and look great right out of the box no break-in. In fact I bought them for work but I like them so much that I think I will keep them for good!

Dry Feet - I wear these to wash the car, pull my fishing boat into the water, etc. Quality appears to be good. They are comfortable.

Great boot - One would be hard pressed to find a more comfortable "rubber" boot. It fits like a running shoe and wears comfortably all day. I just ordered my second pair. The only criticism that I can find is that the top of the boot can tear if snagged by a sharp rock or stick. Otherwise, I highly recommend these for hunters or anyone in wet areas all day.

Great looking shoe!Everything you've heard about Zappos speed & quality of service is true. As to the shoe, it was a little stiff right out of the box, but became increasingly comfortable, as the day wore on. It's about half a size smaller and a little narrower than marked. But that's OK. As I always order a little larger so as to put in my own inserts. All in all a great shoe.

What a boot!I don't think the picture here does this boot justice. It is truly a sharp looking boot. Looks aside, however, this is the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. I wear these boots to work mostly. I'm not a hardcore hiker, but I absolutely hate getting wet feet on rainy or snowy days and I especially despise cold toes. I can't speak for the warmth yet since as of this writing, it’s only September, but they certainly keep my feet dry. And my feet don't get sweaty either. Did I mention how comfortable they are? I am more than satisfied with these boots. While I've never heard of LaCrosse before I would definitely buy this brand again.

Awesome boots - These boots are so padded and comfortable, especially with the extra removable insole, you feel like you're walking on a mattress. And several people have remarked how cool they look. And they're waterproof! I have a high instep and a wide foot. I got a half size larger than normal and EE width. This boot was perfect for me. I was not familiar with the LaCrosse name but I know I would definitely buy them again.

Great work boot - Comfortable boots, waterproof and they are the easiest lace up boots to get on and off I've ever owned. A very sturdy boot and have been working in 98 and 100 degree heat and my feet have been comfortable.

Great work boot - I am a concrete truck driver. These boots are very comfortable and easily broken in. I sprayed more waterproofing on them just to be sure.

Well-made warm comfort!I bought these for my husband after buying a short pair for myself. The Soft skindiver material inside makes these a big improvement over the old Wellies he had before. He loves them. They come up to the knees and are great for walking in wet muddy fields.
