Super cute. This shoe is light and has ample toe room. I imagine it would be comfortable but I will be returning it. I wear a size 5 and it was about a half size too big (felt like European sizing).

Super cute shoe, had to return however--just not comfortable! If you were just going to sit the whole time they would be fine but walking in them is near impossible due to heel slipage even though they fit well. Also, the stitching inside is coated with some kind of crusty stuff and rubbed on my arch. Wish I could keep them but substance overode style this time around!

Very cute and lots of padding, so they seem like they would be comfortable. Unfortunately, they were huge on me (I'm usually a 8.5/9 and I would probably need the 8).

Cute shoe, but it gets only three stars from me because it is so big. This is particularly strange as I have a couple of Lacoste lace-up shoes of the same size, which fit fine.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keds, Puma

I wear a 5½. I ordered these in a 5½, and they fit more like a 6½ so I returned them and I ordered a 5 elsewhere because Zappos was out of the size 5 in the color that I ordered. The size 5 fit more like a 6, which was still too big for me. They are cute shoes, but unfortunately Lacoste did not size their shoes right at all.

About Lacoste
René Lacoste entered the legend of tennis when he and his team-mates "The Musketeers", stole the Davis Cup away from the Americans for the first time, in 1927. Not forgetting his 3 French Open victories (1925, 1927 and the Roland-Garros stadium in 1929), his two victories in Great Britain (Wimbledon 1925 and 1928) and two U.S. Open titles at Forest Hills (1926 and 1927).
René Lacoste was born in France on July 2nd, 1904 and died on October 12th, 1996. The true story of the "Crocodile" begins in 1927. René Lacoste liked to recount how his nickname became an emblem recognized throughout the world.
"I was nicknamed "the Alligator" by the American press, after I made a bet with the Captain of the French Davis Cup Team concerning a suitcase made from crocodile skin. He promised to buy it for me if I won a very important match for our team. The public must have been fond of this nickname which conveyed the tenacity I displayed on the tennis courts, never letting go of my prey! So my friend Robert George drew a 'crocodile', which I then had embroidered on the blazer I wore on the courts."
An attentive spectator at René Lacoste’s Davis Cup matches was the winner of the British Women’s golf title, Mademoiselle Simone Thion de la Chaume, who soon became his wife and constant support.
In 1933, René Lacoste and André Gillier, the owner and President of the largest French knitwear manufacturing firm of that time, set up a company to manufacture the logo-embroidered shirt. The champion had designed this for his own use on the tennis court, as well as a number of other shirts for tennis, golf and sailing - as can be seen in the first catalogue, produced in 1933.
To the best of our knowledge, this was the first time that a brand name appeared on the outside of an article of clothing - an idea which has since become extremely successful.
This shirt revolutionized men’s sportswear and replaced the woven fabric, long-sleeved, starched classic shirts. The first Lacoste shirt was white, slightly shorter than its counterparts, had a ribbed collar, short sleeves with ribbed bands and was made of a light knitted fabric called "Jersey petit piqué".
Today, it continues to offer the same quality, comfort and solidity on which it built its name and which constitutes its uniqueness.
As an enduring legacy, the Lacoste brand has widely expanded over the years. Its famous crocodile emblem can now be seen on shoes, eyewear, watches, bedding, bath towels, bags, accessories, kid's shoes, as well as apparel.

So cute, but so huge. I wear a 6-6.5 in other brands, and after reading the reviews, bought a 5.5. Still wayyy too big, which is what kept me from rating these better. Definitely need to exchange these for a smaller size. Go a full size smaller if you get these. Half a size isn't enough.

I bought these shoes last year and really liked them. I don't really like the white trim on the top. Bring back the all black shoe!

I wear a 6.5, but based on the reviews, I ordered these shoes in 5, 5.5 and 6. The 5s were just too small. The 5.5s were a better length, but the toe box is still tight (I think because the material sits too flat so there isn't any give for the toes), and the counter (the back of the shoe that goes around the heel) doesn't seem to go up high enough, so the back of the shoe slips off. I thought I might able to correct this by adding the gel pads to the back of the shoe, but it didn't work. The 6's were just too big. They're cute, but they'll have to go back, which is too bad.

I loved the style of these shoes but, there were many problems. First they caused some major blistering on the backs of my ankles-which was unexpected for this "sneaker-flat". I had these shoes for a little over a month and loved them so much but, they are cheaply made. The adhesive was almost non-existent causing the surrounding rubber piece to peel off leaving the whole left side exposed. Cute but beware of the cheaply made flat!

These shoes are so perfect. They are also very comfortable. I read the reviews and thankfully ordered a full size smaller. I believe they are European sized since the tag says they are a 39.5 and a US size of 8, I normally wear a 9 which is also a eu size 39.

I usually take a size 10. I should have ordered a 9. The 10 was way too big would suggest a whole size smaller.

Looks sharp; squishy insole but no arch support. Runs a bit big in the heel, a little floppy.
