I love these towels. I usually buy these high-end towels because they last forever, retain their look, and they don't peel like cheaper towels. Nothing I hate more than towels leaving their fabric on my skin after a shower. Their size is perfect as well. I have the much bigger bath mats, and I find I don't need that much towel. This size fits on my towel holders perfectly. I also love the Ralph Lauren towels, which I don't know if Zappos has them, but these are the only two brands I buy. The difference now for me, if I can find them on Zappos, get them delivered overnight, for free and avoid the malls....this will be the only way I'll shop for bath items like this. The price, much cheaper than I've seen yet for towels like these.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ralph Lauren

This Lacoste Crocod'il Solid Towel Set is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! It is the PERFECT blue, not a dark navy, just a great blue. The quality is outstanding, and, of course, the little Crocodile doesn't hurt either. I have ALWAYS loved the Crocodile!!

Six days before we moved our son to college, I ordered the Lacoste towel set to send to school with him. First, I ordered the color Chili Pepper. How was I to know Chili Pepper is too bright for a guy? I phoned Zappos and placed a second order for the gray (Drizzle) towels. They arrived amazingly fast. The gray towels were washed and packed in time for our departure. Lacoste makes a sturdy and absorbent towel. Love the towels and Zappos, you are the best!

About Lacoste
René Lacoste entered the legend of tennis when he and his team-mates "The Musketeers", stole the Davis Cup away from the Americans for the first time, in 1927. Not forgetting his 3 French Open victories (1925, 1927 and the Roland-Garros stadium in 1929), his two victories in Great Britain (Wimbledon 1925 and 1928) and two U.S. Open titles at Forest Hills (1926 and 1927).
René Lacoste was born in France on July 2nd, 1904 and died on October 12th, 1996. The true story of the "Crocodile" begins in 1927. René Lacoste liked to recount how his nickname became an emblem recognized throughout the world.
"I was nicknamed "the Alligator" by the American press, after I made a bet with the Captain of the French Davis Cup Team concerning a suitcase made from crocodile skin. He promised to buy it for me if I won a very important match for our team. The public must have been fond of this nickname which conveyed the tenacity I displayed on the tennis courts, never letting go of my prey! So my friend Robert George drew a 'crocodile', which I then had embroidered on the blazer I wore on the courts."
An attentive spectator at René Lacoste’s Davis Cup matches was the winner of the British Women’s golf title, Mademoiselle Simone Thion de la Chaume, who soon became his wife and constant support.
In 1933, René Lacoste and André Gillier, the owner and President of the largest French knitwear manufacturing firm of that time, set up a company to manufacture the logo-embroidered shirt. The champion had designed this for his own use on the tennis court, as well as a number of other shirts for tennis, golf and sailing - as can be seen in the first catalogue, produced in 1933.
To the best of our knowledge, this was the first time that a brand name appeared on the outside of an article of clothing - an idea which has since become extremely successful.
This shirt revolutionized men’s sportswear and replaced the woven fabric, long-sleeved, starched classic shirts. The first Lacoste shirt was white, slightly shorter than its counterparts, had a ribbed collar, short sleeves with ribbed bands and was made of a light knitted fabric called "Jersey petit piqué".
Today, it continues to offer the same quality, comfort and solidity on which it built its name and which constitutes its uniqueness.
As an enduring legacy, the Lacoste brand has widely expanded over the years. Its famous crocodile emblem can now be seen on shoes, eyewear, watches, bedding, bath towels, bags, accessories, kid's shoes, as well as apparel.

These towels are great. High quality and reasonably priced. Easy to care for, but I dry on medium heat per label instructions. I wish there were a broader color selection, and that Zappos would sell in sets in addition to individually.

This is a great present for those "wanna be" friends of yours. What says "I am more important than you" than these pretentious towels that scream "I absolutely paid too much for this because I can" than these deluxe, soft labeled wielding water stoppers! I love them!

I had just removed wallpaper and painted my bathroom and looked and looked for a new towel set. I don't like the frills so I was tickled when I found this towel set. I ordered the flamingo color and it is perfect. Just a little crocod'il to make them different. Great price and perfect addition for any bathroom.
