An awesome shoe, but it has its faults… The Carnaby is a great shoe, if taken care of…if any kind of cleaner is applied the white finish will wear off leaving your clean white kicks looking an unhealthy grey... :-(

FRESH - These shoes are clean-cut, sharp, true-to-fit and comfortable. I have received a ton of compliments on these shoes, but I've also kept them very clean (stay out away from rain and crowded bars with these bad boys). If I had to come up with one con, it would be that the lace-loop is set too low on the tongue. As a result, the tongue slides down and constantly creates a depression at the front of the shoe. Small price to pay, these shoes are slick, trendy and feel great.

Lacoste's Carnaby Rs 2 - This is a great shoe at a great price! You really cannot beat Zappos value. The best part was free overnight shipping and the customer service. I am very happy with my purchase though Zappos!!!
Brands I'd also recommend: Any Lacoste shoe

Great from every aspect! I usually wear a size 10 in Diesels, but that is with a little extra toe-room, so I ordered these shoes in a size 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I think it is better with this style of shoe to have them fit exact because it looks better with jeans that way. Overall these shoes are awesome, a great comfortable fit and they are exactly as cool as they are in the pics. Maybe even a little cooler! VERY satisfied here!
Brands I'd also recommend: Diesel shoes are comfortable like these as well.

About Lacoste
René Lacoste entered the legend of tennis when he and his team-mates "The Musketeers", stole the Davis Cup away from the Americans for the first time, in 1927. Not forgetting his 3 French Open victories (1925, 1927 and the Roland-Garros stadium in 1929), his two victories in Great Britain (Wimbledon 1925 and 1928) and two U.S. Open titles at Forest Hills (1926 and 1927).
René Lacoste was born in France on July 2nd, 1904 and died on October 12th, 1996. The true story of the "Crocodile" begins in 1927. René Lacoste liked to recount how his nickname became an emblem recognized throughout the world.
"I was nicknamed "the Alligator" by the American press, after I made a bet with the Captain of the French Davis Cup Team concerning a suitcase made from crocodile skin. He promised to buy it for me if I won a very important match for our team. The public must have been fond of this nickname which conveyed the tenacity I displayed on the tennis courts, never letting go of my prey! So my friend Robert George drew a 'crocodile', which I then had embroidered on the blazer I wore on the courts."
An attentive spectator at René Lacoste’s Davis Cup matches was the winner of the British Women’s golf title, Mademoiselle Simone Thion de la Chaume, who soon became his wife and constant support.
In 1933, René Lacoste and André Gillier, the owner and President of the largest French knitwear manufacturing firm of that time, set up a company to manufacture the logo-embroidered shirt. The champion had designed this for his own use on the tennis court, as well as a number of other shirts for tennis, golf and sailing - as can be seen in the first catalogue, produced in 1933.
To the best of our knowledge, this was the first time that a brand name appeared on the outside of an article of clothing - an idea which has since become extremely successful.
This shirt revolutionized men’s sportswear and replaced the woven fabric, long-sleeved, starched classic shirts. The first Lacoste shirt was white, slightly shorter than its counterparts, had a ribbed collar, short sleeves with ribbed bands and was made of a light knitted fabric called "Jersey petit piqué".
Today, it continues to offer the same quality, comfort and solidity on which it built its name and which constitutes its uniqueness.
As an enduring legacy, the Lacoste brand has widely expanded over the years. Its famous crocodile emblem can now be seen on shoes, eyewear, watches, bedding, bath towels, bags, accessories, kid's shoes, as well as apparel.

Great Shoe - I don't normally buy black shoes, but I bought these shoes in black and I am not regretting it. They feel amazing and look good. The only thing is that I wish the liner wasn't milk colored. They look pretty bad when wearing shorts because of the milk color, but otherwise I am supremely satisfied with them!

Comfy and Great Support - I bought these shoes for retail work; TRANSLATION: a job that requires a lot of running, walking, and standing which means the 7th layer of hell for your feet. These shoes hold up well to the abuses of the retail rush, even during the Xmas rush of Black Friday. I will definitely buy these again or any other Lacoste shoe for that matter!

Lacoste Carnaby Rs 2 - A great looking shoe that is fairly comfortable as well. All I could ask is that it had a little more arch support.

Not Durable - These shoes did not last longer than 2-3 months. The white is painted on, and the color beneath (grayish-blue) is shown after the slighted scape.

The shoes look great and are very comfortable but the leather is terrible. I have now owned 3 pairs in the last year and a half. I am careful with the shoes, but they scuff like crazy and shoe polish won’t help much.

After reading all of the reviews, I was a little nervous to buy these shoes; however, I purchased them for my husband for his birthday because I loved the style. If you are thinking about purchasing these...DO IT!! They are great! My husband is a photographer and walks around for hours at weddings. He has done two 8-hour weddings since he received these as a gift and he said that his feet never felt so comfortable. He has wider feet and says these are roomy. His feet do not sweat in these shoes and they are just overall comfortable. Looks wise...they are awesome. I have never seen shoes so 'white' before. They also have the deep green on them and just pop out. If you buy these, people will compliment you on them...he gets compliments all of the time. I think this was a great purchase and 5-STARS ALL THE WAY!!!

This is the second time I have purchased this shoe for my son. They are classic white leather shoes. We have found them to be well made and very durable. We only needed to replace them when he outgrew the first pair.

This is a pretty comfortable shoe. I bought them because I landed a job with Lacoste, but they didn\'t have any shoes in my size. These are very your typical tennis shoe that can stand the rigors of the retail work environment. I\'m sure if you\'re looking for a game of tennis in them as well, they shouldn\'t let you down.

Bought this as a gift. The recipient informed me that the shoes run smaller than marked, felt narrower also and had no arch support. He, however, liked the style.

Great shoes. These are my second pair. I wear them pretty regularly, so after about a year they lost their fresh look. I like them extra white and clean. They have a lower profile than the Airforce Ones, which I like. They don't offer much support so I can't give the comfort level more than a 3 stars. They run one size up than what I would normally wear and meaning I wear a 12 and fit in a 13 in this particular shoe.
Brands I'd also recommend: Addidas, Airforce 1

Received mine yesterday. A very white shoe, very smooth finish. I wear an 11 medium dress shoe and 11.5 running shoe. The 11.5 I purchased fits a little close, but bearable. I would recommend for easy all day wear and comfort choosing a full size over your dress shoe size. Arch support could be better also. All in all I am still happy with my shoes.

These are the classic Lacoste Carnaby sneaker. This pair has a stiff leather compared to other editions I have owned. They were a little bit snug first, but now they're ok. I rate them for comfort with 4 stars, because previous editions were better. Speaking about the style, they seem somehow bulkier than my previous pair of carnaby.
