These shoes are really good looking and comfortable right out of the box, no break-in required. I like the way they fit, snug and very comfortable. I have gait issues and have to be careful that my shoes don't cause me to fall (I can fall all by myself), but I feel pretty secure walking in these. They are much prettier than reflected in the picture. I like these so much that I ordered a second pair in snakeskin. Both my sisters have two pairs of these as well and love them! The price is very reasonable for such a nice shoe. Buy them; I don't think you will be disappointed.

Love the look of La Plume Jen, no doubt about it. I would buy a pair in a minute if the inside the part of the shoe where the sole of the foot lays was made of material or suede. I do not wear slides without material. Leather makes my feet sweat and slip. Perhaps you could pass this along to the company!

I have found the LaPlume Jen a very true to size, comfortable shoe. I have had extensive foot surgery and the ability to alter the width via the buckled straps is a huge benefit. There is enough arch support to take weight off the ball of the feet which is also important for me.

A really comfortable shoe! The buckles make it adjustable to fit your foot perfectly. The patent leather makes them a little bit dressier and more stylish than other comfortable sandals. I wear them almost every day and purchased them in brown patent also. A great sandal!

I had found La Plumes several years ago in the islands and immediately loved them. They are more the most comfortable shoes and unfortunately I couldn't find them here in the Midwest. Thank you Zappos! These babies are HOT and if you'll excuse me I'm off to take my leopard clad feet out for a walk in these amazing shoes. BTW, when you have one of those "Oh no I used too much salt" days...they adjust to your temporarily chubby feet. Try them, you'll love them.

SO, SO comfortable. I really need arch support. The arch ball isn't where I expected it to be - but it works! I can walk all day in them.

This will be my third pair of the 2000 series from ASICS. The shoe is light and breathes well. It always has a wonderful spring to it when you first start wearing them. Love these shoes and I highly recommend them for the average every day runner or even those that run marathons. I run a lot of races and have found these shoes to last a long time.

Received the wrong shoe but...
I love these shoes. I have 4 pair and wear them all summer. I wanted and thought I ordered the black Nubuck and received the patent leather. They are not as soft as the Nubuck. I was a little disappointed but needed the black sandal so I kept them.

I bought this shoe at a shoe store in Mt. Pleasant, SC. There are staples attaching the buckle. They dig right into my toe. I didn't notice this when I tried them on in the store. But when I wore them for a while, they hurt. I will have to find something to cover the staples. If you want the shoe, be sure to look out for this discomfort.

La- Plume's style Jen-Snake -
This style of La-Plume's is not only very comfortable but dressy as well. I am extremely happy with them. Also, the size is spot on for 37 otherwise in English being 6 1/2 to 7 perfect fit. Thank you Zappos! Keep different colors coming, I hope!

Attractive shoe -
This is a very nice looking shoe, and it would be great except for the hard "toe ridge" on my bony feet. I have tried to make it work with pads, but I am going to have to return the shoe and try a different style.

My favorites -
I have these sandals in the leopard print. They are my absolute favorites for comfort. The little bump under the metatarsal area makes all the difference for all day walking around, & they have great arch support. They aren't the cutest, but if your feet hurt, these are lifesavers!

First time I have ordered this brand. Usually I buy Josef Seibel shoes, but noticed this brand had a good arch support, which I need. I got this shoe in Tan Cheetah and it is good looking. The first time I wore it I received compliments on it.

Great walking sandal -
Received these as a gift. Need arch support and these are great. I usually wear a 9, needed a 9.5-10. These run wide, so was very happy with fit. Walked 6 hrs first day right out of box and feet felt good. Again you will love the support in the sandal. Good with jeans, would not choose for dress up.
