So beautiful and the quality is apparent. I love the beauty combined with function (microfleece lining,waterproof exterior, flexible soles that grip so I can be fearless in icy conditions). They are very sleek looking and felt comfortable right away but I do not notice much arch support. If I need more, I can put in an insert. My calves are not skinny and these boots fit over them but I could not fit jeans inside them but that is okay because I intend to wear them mostly with skirts. They are so beautiful. I do wish they included care instructions for the waterproof suede though.

I have rather large calves, and these fit beautifully, even with fat socks. Been walking in snow, and my feet and calves and knees. Are warm and dry. And these are elegant and beautifully made. I did buy a half size up, but there is no need, they are true to size. I just wanted to wear layers.

Great boot, great look, great fit! The only downfall is after a while of wearing, the boot stretches out and no longer hugs the legs as good - so put slips down calf a lot. Arch support could be better, but its a comfortable shoe! Great buy, especially if on sale!

Was great in the Canadian winter. It's warm, comfortable, and looked good too. Worth the money. I ordered a half size up, thinking I would need it for thicker socks, but there was no need. The shoe is snug, and does not need thick socks, and I ended up having slightly too much room in the toe box which is my own fault. Excellent workmanship; the sole helped me stay upright too!

Cute, comfy, casual go anywhere boot. These fit as closely as a pull on soft style boot can. Normally a 7.5B, after years of WFH and going barefoot, I need a slightly roomier 7.5 & these are perfect with room for tights or thick socks. My heel is on the narrow side of medium, but the heel doesn't slip more than expected for a pull on boot. The shaft is soft enough to scrunch down for easier maneuvering on and off over leggings or skinny jeans. I wouldn't wear them with straight leg or wider jeans because they'll look a little blouson (like in the video). The boot lining is very smooth and cozy soft throughout. Good grip on the soles. The higher front makes them more stylish than the average flat boot. The foot and ankle are more structured and fit closer which keeps these on the stylish side of comfort. I wear them walking the dogs, running to the store, shopping, walking around outdoor (wet, muddy) festivals... great in our rainy 'winter' weather, as well as the occasional trip to snowy Minnesota! I also have the Kloe which are amazing and round out my boot wardrobe. La Canadienne are the only boots I will buy from now on!

I've been wearing these boots every chance I get since they arrived. They are my second pair of La Canadienne boots and they won't be my last -- such high quality and extremely comfortable fit. The soles are great for traction; I didn't slip at all walking around an icy ski area. As other reviewers said, the shaft isn't particularly tight, so suggest wearing over skinny jeans so they stay pulled up. I have long legs and the tops just reach my kneecaps for a cool elongated look; note that they can also be folded down for a cuffed pirate look. I have somewhat wide feet and use arch support inserts, but still find the fit to be plenty roomy; if you have narrow feet, you might need thicker socks or inserts.

Outstanding, fit fashion and quality very sleek and comfy. I were a 8.5 or 9 have a high arch got the 8.5 and they are perfect. All that and waterproof too! Awesome highly recommend.

Got the Tasha boots earlier this winter. I enjoyed wearing them and they kept me warm. They are tall but I am 5'6" and to me it was okay. I had to return the 7 for a 7.5. The customer service person was pleasant to work with. Thanks Zappos!
