This is my second pair of Talar. They heel is low enough to be comfortable walking all day but high enough to be styling. The fact that they are warm and waterproof is a bonus!

Cute solution for high heel avoiders - This shoe is so comfortable and feels like I am wearing flats. My regular footwear are Lands' End all-weather mocs and Tevas in the summer. I only ever wear heels to walk onstage and sit down. The suede Talar is more comfortable than the crinkle leather Tailor shoes because the suede hugs your feet and is not as stiff. These ankle boots are extremely warm and make your feet look small. The kitten heel is amazing and does not feel like a heel at all. I like how there are no embellishments except for the stitching. It's all about the shape and colour. I didn't end up buying these boots because I was really looking for a tall boot, but I kept taking these out of the box and putting them on just to feel them hug my feet. If the Tahra ever goes on sale I would probably get a black pair, but for now I am buying the elegant and comfortable Devine in charcoal, on sale! A word on sizing: I am a 6 or 6 1/2 in sandals or dress shoes and a 7 in shoes that I wear with thicker socks. I wouldn't say that these run as much as a half size bigger, but they are on the snug side.

Snap these up! I dithered for months over these - loved the look, really can't afford the price. After slogging home from work one too many times in my so-called rain boots, I broke down and ordered them. It was that or cheap, heavy, rubber clunkers. I so wish I'd gotten these sooner! They are incredibly comfortable, and absolutely beautiful. My normal size would be good with hose, I'm keeping the half size up so I can wear socks as I'm sure they'll stretch out a bit. I normally wear a shoe for a couple weeks before I review it, but these are going fast - buy them now!

Comfortable and stylish - A great combination of comfort and style -- just enough heel to look elegant, yet low enough to make walking and standing comfortable. The charcoal color is a sophisticated alternative to black. In terms of fit, I have a slightly wide foot with a high instep. With thin socks, this shoe fit perfectly out of the box. I expect a bit of stretch in the future will allow me to wear thicker socks.

Stylish ankle boot - At last a boot that's truly designed around the shape of a foot and yet stylish and comfortable - hard to find that combination. I take a size 11 and need good toe room - this boot gives me that and yet doesn't make me look like Big Foot :~)

No regrets - I've never spent this much on a shoe, but I have no regrets. They have absolutely everything--style, comfort, the quality is phenomenal--warmth and waterproof, too. I live in NYC, and the first time I wore them I walked 4 miles, absolutely nothing but comfort and compliments the entire time!

Excellent winter boot - This is a comfortable, warm, and nice looking boot. I have worn them all winter! They are warm, so for a person who lives in a slightly warmer locale, they might be limited to only the colder days.

This is an excellent boot. It is very comfortable and looks great. The low heel makes it wearable, yet remains feminine. I recommend ordering a half size larger than you normally wear unless you have a narrow foot.

Talar - Very good looking, very comfy. I found that it ran a half size smaller. I'm 10.5 and I ordered an 11.
