La Canadienne Serafina is a fabulously stylish, riding boot. Chic with dresses as well as with pants tucked in. Wore them in freezing New York last week and they rocked! I have slim calves and while they're not as narrow at the top as I would have liked, they're the best, and at a great price. I initially ordered 3 pairs of different boots because after looking in stores for a month, I couldn't find anything close to the selection on Zappos. And because they are so easy to order from and return to, I'll continue to look to their site for inspiration.

These boots are gorgeous. Waterproof leather, what a luxury! The toe is a beautiful almond shape that is flattering on every foot. The inside is soft almost microfleece-like material. Divine. The toe box on these is a bit narrow so if your foot tends toward the wider side of the standard width measurement you might want to consider a different style. But other than that they are everything I hoped they would be. No complaints. I'm keeping mine.

These are really beautiful boots, more so than they look in the pictures. But they really do have a real equestrian look to them, and also taller than one would think. I would have probably kept them, however, the shaft of the boot was just not comfortable. A wrinkle was really rubbing and pressing on my shin. It wasn't really too wide in the calf, but somehow the stiffness created a painful wrinkling just above the ankle. Not that the leather is stiff, it's actually fairly soft. I think it was just the cut somehow wasn't right for my leg. These are an awesome boot for someone with narrow ankles and a fairly narrow foot as well, who like that riding look. They are fairly pointy, but that's one of the things that makes them so uniquely attractive for a waterproof boot. Not a cheap looking boot at all. But, unfortunately, these will probably go back. Oh, and one more thing - these boots stay up! Though the leather is fairly soft, they do not slouch down at all.
