Beautiful and extremely comfortable! These boots are even better than I expected. A bit tight through the shaft if, like me, you have muscular calves. But I knew the minute I tried them on that I'd be keeping these boots, because they are incredibly comfortable. The heel is high and pointy enough to be feminine and cute with a skirt, but low enough that the boots are comfortable for standing and walking. And they've got the usual La Canadienne lining that adds warmth without bulk. I can't tell you how many hundreds -- no, thousands -- of dollars I've spent on La Canadienne boots since I first discovered this brand two years ago. Another win for La Canadienne!

Perfect boot for narrow calves - I have been searching for years for tall boots that would fit my skinny calves and these are perfect. Soft glove leather. Feminine but not too high or pointy. Way pricey, but it's so hard to find nice slim-calfed leather boots that I can't imagine ever parting with these.

These are cute and look good under pants. They are not a racy looking boot at all; they seem to be more about comfort than style. I love that they are waterproof! The arch felt overly supportive to me, and I don't typically have issues with arches. I wound up sending them back because the shaft isn't snug enough around my calf. My calf measures 13.5" at its widest point, and this boot left a slim gap at the top. If I'm going to buy an upscale boot, I want it to fit like a glove, and this one didn't.

These boots are so comfortable, right out of the box. I tried them on at Nordy's then came to Zappos. I have wide feet and these don't pinch. The leather is super soft and the heel is a walkable height. Also, if you have very skinny calves like me, these boots will work for you. I can wear them over leggings or skinny jeans. And they are fitted at the ankle. I don't know if the "in" look is to wear fitted zip boots over skinny jeans, but they seem to work. It's like a second skin. And they are warm! True to size. I have a lot of Frye boots and these are much more comfortable in the toe box and lining, padding, etc. These boots are super sexy, but the look is highly versatile: work, weekends, etc. Thanks Zappos!

Next to the last pair of La Canadienne boots I had (for 11 years!), these are the absolute best boots. From the moment I put them on they fit comfortably. I hope they last! The heel is perfect for me, not too high, nor too low. The calf fit is great (I probably have medium sized calves). I don't mind the ankle being a bit loose (as others had warned). I only wished this company made regular shoes.

Gorgeous Boot! This boot has wonderful leather and great style. Unfortunately, I have very flat feet and the arch support didn't hit at the right place. And I am tall - 5'8" and the boot was not tall enough to hit right below my knee. I will definitely try this brand again.

This boot is so comfortable and the leather is like a glove, so soft. Only thing is the boot shaft is not long enough, one more inch would be great. At least for me being 5 ft 8. If they were one inch longer would be perfect. I am trying to decide whether to keep them… difficult as they are so comfortable. Also fits a slim calf really well which has not been easy to find.

First of all I absolutely love Zappos service. Fast shipping and free. No other site compares. As for the boots, they are comfortable from the get go. A little bigger than what I would prefer for myself as I like my shoes on the snug side, but they are fine. They are seemingly well made and the leather is soft to the touch. I would like the heel a little taller, but they are good none the less. All in all I encourage you to see for yourself. I don’t think they will disappoint you.

I wanted to love these boots, I really really did. The style is so cute, but unfortunately as some other reviewers said, these are really better for someone with calves on the narrow side. Mine aren’t very wide, but more like the upper side of average, and I found the top of the boots much too tight. I could never wear them with anything tucked in. I hoped they might stretch, but I don’t think I have the patience. Also, after walking around the house with them a bit I realized I want a lower heel and a taller boot. I am quite tall and these boots only came up to about 3 1/2 inches below my knee. So in the end I am returning them for something that fits my needs a little better.

I love these boots! They are amazingly comfortable, easy to walk in, wearable all day long. I never wear heels, and yet I can walk long distances in these with no major issues - the balls of my feet will feel it a little, but nothing major. My calves are fairly normal - not skinny at all - and the top of the boots fit perfectly. I have a feeling these will last a long time - very well made, well worth the price.

These boots were super comfortable the very first night I wore them -- and I wore them to a party and stood for several hours. They look awesome with skirts, dresses, and leggings. The leather is really smooth. I would buy more La Canadienne boots for sure.

Love these boots. Comfortable the second they’re put on. I’ve been searching for a tall boot, and these feel good and fit my slim calves. The leather is so soft and the sole is cushioned. I hesitated at the price, but can tell that they’ll be worth it because of the quality and comfort. I tried a pair of born boots that felt great, but the calf was too wide. This brand has lots of styles with different calf widths.

These were a little more than I normally spend on boots but well worth it! I have skinny little legs, and these were the only pair (out of the 12 or so I tried on) that did not look like I was swimming in rain boots. They are super comfy and cute.

These are very nice shoes: stylish, light, unique in every inch of their leather being. Normally, I wear 6.5, but this time, although the length was good, the arch support landed in a wrong spot. So, I went for a 1/2 size up and that was it. The shoes are amazing. They go with everything - suit, jeans, skirt. Highly recommended for office too.

I love these boots, except for the arch support. It was too far back toward my heel and too high (and I have to have good support). I ordered a 1/2 size larger (6.5) than my standard shoe size (6) and they fit beautifully except for the arch. Since I get foot and leg cramps easily, these just didn't work for me. I really loved how they looked, fit in the toe area, and fit on my calf (finally!), but my feet are still complaining about being in them for an hour in the house. I so wanted them to fit!

I just got these boots last week and I love them. I have skinny calves and I can never find boots that don't look huge on me. This is my second pair of La Canadienne boots and I love them. They are super comfortable and stylish. They are worth every penny. I just bought another style in brown and they also fit my calves.
