I cannot believe this boot came up in my search for wide calf boots. It is beautiful and comfortable, but it is not a wide calf boot. I am 5'10 with a 16" calf. I could hardly get the boot zipped. So disappointing!

I so wanted to keep these beautiful boots but they were just too tall for my petite frame (5 ft). The back of my knee hit the back of the boot. Big, big bummer so back they go. My search still continues.

Fabulous boots! Bought them in the espresso color and could not be more pleased. The suede is so comfortable and chic it's hard to believe it's an all-weather boot. The heel is comfortable for walking, they look great with skirts and under slacks in a work environment or over leggings with a sweater or dress for more casual/bar settings. I constantly get asked who they are by - highly recommend!

Love the color of these boots - they are very dark espresso brown. Darker than they appeared on my monitor. Love the slim fit in the calves. Look great with both skirts and pants - a very versatile boot. Did notice that the footbed seems a bit less padded than other La Canadienne boots I own - so I need to wear a sock with some padding on bottom.

These are gorgeous boots, fit is true to size and incredibly comfortable. High quality, love the fact that there's an inside zipper with elastic goring on the outside so they're easy to get on over jeans. You can walk forever I these because the heel is elevated but wide and supportive. They're gorgeous suede and already waterproof. I got a pair in each color, they're that great. Always get compliments on them.

I am a huge fan of La Canadienne and have been a loyal customer for many years. That being said, I wish I had never kept these boots. Pattin is beautiful to be sure. I am 5'8" and I love the long shaft. But the footbed is sloppy and they skimped on the padding. I thought it would help to order half a size down but the 7½ was too small. I stayed with my usual size 8 and thought I could overlook the shoddy fit. I was very wrong and I regret my decision to keep these boots based on looks alone. Bottom line is that they do not measure up to the La Canadienne name.

This is a really beautiful pair of boots! I bought a second pair of La C's based on my experience with this pair. They are very comfortable. The heel is solid and the outline of the boot is very sleek. I have a 14.5" calf and can just get the zippers done. I think it was this boot that another 5'2" person complained that the boot hit the back of her knee when she walked. I don't have this problem. I was a bit sad I discovered these close to a short winter season. I wouldn't have minded wearing them for longer.
