Beautiful boot, great craftsmanship. It seems pretty comfortable, too. I just don't think I can commit to the high price, though. However, for a gray suede boot, it seems fantastic!

I purchased these boots because of the style, color and brand. However, not had the opportunity to wear them out on the town as yet, when I tried them on at home they felt great and pretty much true to size. The truest test will be when I actually wear them, then I will know for sure but I feel confident they will be fine and comfortable, I only rated the boots a 4 because I have not worn them as yet but I like the quality and they look well made.

I love this boot! They are true to size and I can't believe how comfortable they are to wear. I even wore them outside on a drizzly day, worried that I might ruin them, but they look just like new. I have walked in them for hours in perfect comfort. Truthfully, I forget I'm even wearing heels. They are pricey but worth every penny. I can't wait to purchase another style from La Canadienne.

Just wore my boots for the first time today, and it's raining. No problemo, since they are waterproof. The boots are very comfortable (cushy and good heel length) and they look elegant. They are perfect for work!

These are gorgeous boots and very comfortable. I wore them 8 hours the first day and 3½ hours standing the whole time on the second day. my soles were a little sore the first day, but I probably should have worn thicker socks the first time out. I think these are going to be just perfect. They are sexy and they hug my thin calves really well leaving no ugly gaps. I really could not ask for a better boot.

Super comfortable, fits my narrow calf quite well, just a little room. Warm, stable, comfortable right out of the box. And waterproof! My new go to boots. I am pretty picky, always looking for a combination of sophisticated style and comfort and utility and these fit the bill. The only improvement would be a lug sole as they are not too good on slippery surfaces.

Can't believe how sexy and feminine these boots are. They mold to the legs, and heel is high, but solid for standing for long periods, or walking in snow. Slight platform sole is nice, adding height while heel doesn't feel so high. If you're between sizes, as I am, go with the larger half-size. Gorgeous.

This is one of the best boots - great for walking and on your feet. I live in NYC and the streets are not good for walking, unless you have a boot that has comfort and lots of support. This boot has a platform and rubber soles. I have tried the best boots, Chanel, Jimmy Choo and the rest of the top designers. This is the best for WALKING AND COMFORT, and plus it is stylish. Wonderful dress boot but also looks great with skinny jeans. I'm 60 years old with Morton's Neuroma (nerve damage) on the left foot, and after a tear, only a partial ACL on the right knee, and yet I can wear these boots! I don't think I'd go walking the distance in them; I know my limits, but I wore them inside at work for most of the day when I got them and they were absolutely fine. I usually can't wear any heel at all. I wanted a dress boot to wear this winter to go with dresses and long skirts and decided to pay the price, based on reviews of La Canadienne. I tried on many boots in the stores in the $125-$150 range and couldn't wear them, and/or, they just didn't look good. The quality of these boots are fantastic. One thing. I wore them first with socks (I was wearing a pair of low heel cowboy boots at the time) and could sense that despite the softness of the suede, it was going to pinch my foot across the widest part of it and exacerbate the neuroma. (I had no problem at all on my good foot; the left foot is super sensitive to pressure.) Then I got the brilliant idea of switching to a pair of stocking knee highs that I keep in my desk drawer. Problem solved, no pinching; plenty of room inside the boot. Thinner tights will work as well. I wear a size 9 and was considering exchanging for a 9.5 but all I needed was a thinner stocking and the 9 was perfect. I have 15" muscular calves and these zip up no problem. I can even put skinny jeans inside the boots without a problem, so there is give. The boots don't appear to slouch which makes them look very sleek and chic with dresses. Now to order a flatter heeled, over the knee suede boots for those other skirts that need brown...I want a dressy boot that I can walk miles in too, smile.

I love these boots! They are really stylish and are extremely comfortable. My calves measure 14 inch around and these boots fit perfectly! The toe is slightly pointed for a great look, but doesn't squish your toes. There is some cushion on the sole due to a 1/2 inch platform. This is nice so that you don't feel every rock you step on. The two buttons on the side are gunmetal in color so you have flexibility in wearing gold or silver accessories! Well worth the money!

These boots are frustrating! They are gorgeous, and I so wanted to love them. Glowing reviews are all I read, but I found them to run small and had some color transfer onto my hands while trying them on. The narrow shape of the toe area made it difficult to get a good fit. I usually wear a 7½ in heels and an 8 in most other shoes. I originally tried on the size 8 (at a store), but the toe area felt oddly snug. There seemed to be enough room in the length, but the toe area was so narrow that the front of my foot did not fit into much of it, leaving my foot scrunched but the toe box hollow. Just a strange fit in boots without a very pointy toe. I have a somewhat narrow foot and slim but athletic calves, and I also found that the boot shaft was snug, although I could fit skinny jeans inside. When I tried on the boots with a dress, they slouched a little more than expected. I did like the height of the shaft, which was a couple of inches below my knees (I am petite) but was flattering. While I love how warm these will keep my feet outside, I wonder if they will be too toasty indoors. Finally, while they are certainly comfortable enough for three inch heeled boots, I do not think that I will be walking miles in them. I guess I just expected to be blown away by these boots. The reviews and cost led to some high expectations. I am betting that they will be very useful for a long time, and after trying on the size 8½ from Zappos, which are slightly too big but more comfortable, I am going to keep them, because they are attractive and versatile, and the waterproof aspect is great. These are keepers, if you can justify the price and find the right fit.

These boots are just beautiful. They are much more wearable than they may appear as I have enjoyed wearing them with jeans, leggings etc. They are very comfortable as well.
